I bust their balls at the ice cream stand because the worker keeps telling me they refuse to buy sprinkles because it's not "cost efficient!?" lol
But they charge $6 for a bowl of ice cream? It's like Guptills....without the quality!

Agreed - this needs to be addressed!! We would all rather hear you play! The overhead speakers should be used for sponsors, team intro, and the cheer/dance songs only. All other music should be the pep band. All right guys, back on topic. I really want to try to keep this crowd involvement thing going and since we have a band member on the board, I think we should find a way to express the opinion that the BAND NEEDS TO PLAY....Now I have already pissed off the athletic department this week suggesting some changes, so....I am wondering if anyone else would like to take a shot. My cold is getting better so I plan to be screaming along with section 120 tomorrow....hoping we have a lot to scream about. This one is going to be tough. All the more reason we need the fans involved.

If student action is at the forefront of creating a great atmosphere, then the least you could do is encourage the heads of the Dog Pound to regroup after winter break and do their best to organize the and unify the students that do attend games. Perhaps pointing them to ideas discussed on the board would be a start. www.sienasaints.com/school-bio/saints-dog-pound.htmldogpound@siena.edu As someone who graduated from Siena very recently, the biggest problem surrounding the dog pound is that it is not included in tuition. Students are not willing to pay an additional 75 dollars of their own money on something that does not give them instant gratification. Kind of stupid, but it is how they justify not going to games. If you include it in tuition bill, you'll get more student support.

They may have dropped the price a since I was there but it is two seperate packages. The package with the tickets excluded games over winter break, also.

That money should come out of student fees. Make it $20 for the T-shirt and season tickets, then an extra $5 for the local kids to buy the winter break package.
