Silas has a great 3 minutes spurt. Blocked sht and caught it, had an assist, nice lay in, looked like a monster. IF we can just get him for 20 good minutes, we will be tough inside.

I love the Evan that makes great passes! Good job! If he plays smart he is going to help this team win a lot of games.

Wow- great game to watch-- have to admit I was a little worried in 1st half. Fordham wasn't guarding Wright and was overplaying ball on perimeter- only thing keeping us in was defense. Jimmy made some adjustments-- halfway thru 2nd half went zone and completely threw a curve ball to Rams-- pressed and put them off their game-- and wow I said before game Rams had two best players on floor -- well tonight Siena had best player in Poole-- Not only did he score- he played terrific defense on Severe..who is a great player but is 6'1" tops..he struggled shooting over 6'5" Poole. Hymes played well... and Wright is so damn cool calm and composed-- he just oozes confidence. Rams have some talent-- but Siena pretty much wore them down and Patsos made some very good in game adjustments-- really nice win tonight

Glad I was wrong about this game. NICE win for Siena and the MAAC. Very impressive stretch by Siena to win the game after being down 13 mid second half. Has to be one of Sienas most impressive runs in their history. Some nice stat lines. Obviously Poole, but Wright with the TO/assist, Long with his 7 points-9 rebounds-2 assists are ones that stood out to me. Also sounds like itty bitty Hymes was a major factor during that run along with some key plays by Silas. Hope you guys lose a lot of games this year in the MAAC, but good win tonight.

I was at a function and didn't get to see the first half. Can someone explain why white didn't play much, did JP put him in the dog house because of mistakes? Poole played great! Hymes ditto! Wright- thank god we got a real point guard- that kid is very impressive. Long was solid as always! Wow this team is playing together well- I love the great passing and high percentage shots. He twice missed lay ups instead of passing off to two trailers. Jimmy was pissed about that.

Watched online. A 22-point run was not something I thought I would see this season...really, how many of those do you see in a lifetime? I watched Fordham play Harvard tough, and think this is a very impressive win for us. I like our team heading into MAAC play.

www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-baskbl/stats/2013-2014/sie1230.htmlSiena goes on a 39-14 run to end the game before Fordham scored a meaningless hoop to make the final 79-69. Rob Poole 28 points, 6 rebounds - 9/17 from the field, 8/9 from the line - and played outstanding defense. You can't do much better than that. Marquis Wright 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals Lavon Long - solid effort - 7 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 turnovers 5/6 on FT line Saints were 27/34 (.794) from the foul line...outstanding

that block by Imoh was a Bill russell style play that was a great play-- wish Imoh could stay out of foul trouble - we are such a better team with him on floor

Great night at the line for Siena. 27-34 for 79%
Poole is too good a shooter to struggle at the line like he did earlier in the year.
Wright hitting 4 of 6 including a couple late is a good sign as well since he is struggled at the line. Always want your PG to be a reliable FT shooter.
And lastly Lavon who was 5 of 6 and now at 67%. With his size and skill he should be able to draw a lot of fouls in MAAC play and will be good to capitalize at the line like he has been lately after the slow start.

52 points in the second half...when was the last time Siena scored 50 in a half? That isn't the record for points in one half, right? What is the record?
Outstanding win. The rest of MAAC play should be interesting!

The rest of MAAC play should be interesting! I don't know the record, but I do know that Siena went over the 50 point mark in a half four times in the 2006/07 season. One was 50pts, two at 51 points and one at 52 points on 03/04/07 Siena 86 to Marisst 78 Siena scored 52 points in the second half
