To the Stags ... How did that happen? Why can't we land players like that ..... He committed to a program that will likely fire their coach after next year. That is surprising. People bitch about Patsos - FF fans can't stand Johnson. Johnson took over a winner an ran it into the ground. FF fans have the right to be upset.

Looks like Jimmy is aiming HIGH for a 3
After being named 2nd Team All-CHSAA this season, 6'7" forward Najee Larcher (Xaverian '15) is still looking to prove to college coaches that he can play at the highest level.
M. Libert Najee Larcher Averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds a game this season, Larcher helped lead the Clippers to the CHSAA Intersectional Championship Game where they fell to Christ the King.
It was a great achievement for Xaverian to get as far as they did after finishing near the bottom of the CHSAA last year, and Larcher was a big reason as to why they made it as far as they did.
He understands that many were impressed with how the Clippers played this season, and while he was happy with what they were able to accomplish, it was still a tough way to end his senior year.
"I was proud and disappointed at the same time," Larcher admitted. "We made it far and surprised a lot of people, we just ran into a team that was great."
While his play was fantastic from start to finish this season, his recruitment has yet to take off. It has gotten a bit better since the middle of the H.S. season with a solid Division 2 school in LIU Post being the first to offer he says, while a couple of Division 1's have now reached out to express interest.
"Siena and Maine have called," Larcher said.
He went on to say that they are looking to see how he can play facing the basket a little more, wanting to see more 3 skills out of him before deciding to make an offer.
This April, Larcher will be playing AAU ball with New Heights in hopes to getting that elusive D1 offer. Prep School is not an option he says as he will be in college come September, and he hopes that by showing schools this month that he can play and compete against the best of the best, that everything will work out for him.
"I played very hard throughout the season and I am going to carry that into the AAU season because I feel if I take the success I had during the H.S. season into AAU that it will end up giving me a great outcome."

Heard there is interest (not sure of the level) in 6'6 Jason Burnell of Providence School in Jacksonville (Alma mater of Grayson Allen). Playing on a team with a 6'9 C going to Princeton and a 6'7 PF going to Bona, Burnell, a transfer from Deland where he was POY as a junior, had 26 and 12 in the championship game as Providence won the Class 3A state championship.

There is always Jaelin Grant. Maybe he would turnout to be the second coming of Reggie Lewis, who played in DC on a star filled HS team and was overlooked and ended up in the America East. That would be a welcome happenstance.

If not Prochet... there are still quality wings out there.

With Mamadou Ndiaye (St. Peters) committed, top remaining DMV 2015s include Josh Ayeni, Gary Jefferson, Donte Etheridge, Anthony Whitney 9 retweets 9 favorites
Wouldn't look at Ayeni since we got Fisher but Jefferson (21 ranking in DMV) Etheridge (30) or Whitney (31) would work. We should be on all of these guys! They are in Jimmy's backyard.

All 3 of them are projects-- none project to be impact-- if staff is unable to land a impact recruit save it rather than get another project or role player--WE NEED TALENT

I've liked jefferson and etheridge for a while now, guys that can make impacts as jrs and srs. If we had a loaded team it would be more ideal

Need to think bigger we don't need role players we're stocked in that dept. And why the F does the next kid have to be from the Md area .... Nothing against. DMV but we're just limiting our options unnecessarily'

Ahmad Gilbert, a 6'6" 190lb SF, from Constitution HS in Philadelphia has been given his release from George Mason today. He's a 3 star recruit and is an incoming senior out of HS with 4 years of immediate eligibilty.
Maybe someone out here could get ahold of Paul Hewitt and get the inside on this kid??
