I hear that Jimmy is considering using the remaining scholarship on a high major or A-10 type transfer, assuming there is one we can get who makes sense positionally and baggage-wise. Robinson (Indiana) is apparently looking to stay at the high major level. Bryant (GW) is well known to staff and is a quality kid.
Staff is also keeping tabs on some unsigned seniors. All are not from the DMV. It seems to me that if the priority is to get a transfer, any HS senior worthwhile and still available is likely inclined to take the first reasonable offer, because there can be no assurance that a better offer will be forthcoming.
My thought: find the transfer who is clearly a difference maker (not sure that Bryant is that guy) or hold the scholarship for next year. There may be a better chance of finding the impact transfer at mid-season next year.

I agree. Either way, establishing chemistry is going to be a delicate balance again this year and that should be the first priority of the staff regardless of whether we fill that last scholly or not. I hope all the talk about self reflection we are hearing is demonstrated in a culture of leadership and collaboration with the staff and the players. It's (IMHO) the only way we climb back to the top tier of the MAAC.

I86 says Four Mcglynn is graduating and leaving Towson... May not be the athlete we're looking for but he's a proven scorer. His name is Four....maybe he wants to be an accountant. well, he knows how to lose... that team hes on is awful. ended the season 1-8 in the final 9. what would that say if a kid who transferred out of Vermont to a watered down CAA winds up here McGlynn visited Iona today.

We will get to see Wings guard Desure Buie, next year at Hofstra, Mihalic has really upped his game recruiting at Hofstra compared to what he was recruiting at Niagara

Watched the Lake George game last night switching from NCAA. That kid JM has ice water in his veins. Can't believe Waterville left him open, nut he had to be 35' from the hoop. Calmly took the shot with 2 seconds and nothing but net.

Cobb is a high major recruit that we have almost no shot at. We also need a 3 star post player at least 6-8 in the class of 2015 To the Stags ... How did that happen? Why can't we land players like that .....

Cobb is good friends with Tyler Nelson at Fairfield so I am sure that had something to do with getting him. Cobb, Nelson and Gilbert makes for a good front court next year
