This team has not shown so far this season that 3 PT shooting is their strength, yet they go out and jack up 17 in the first half making only 5 (29%). Awful. Saints trend to end the half: FGs: 0 OF LAST 5 FGs: 1 OF LAST 9 SCORING DROUGHT 4:48 Considering they are a horrid 3 for 12 from 2 point range they might as well just keep jacking up 3s! I agree. They are lucky to only be down 11. This is a game they can still win.

Sounds like they're getting killed on the glass and Shoates has disappeared again.

Every time we battle back they get an offensive rebound and hit a three.
We’re battling we just don’t have a lot of talent and the talent we do have don’t have much D1 experience.

Looks like Miami got the better Xavier transfer at this point.
Team ran out of gas…. After a good start to the season reality has hit.
We don’t have a PG. Shoats should just be an undersized SG. It’s not working for him at PG.
On to Jacksonville or Mercer in another 11am game tomorrow.

Going to stay positive, ugly though. Tough losses mounting. Poor rebounding, nobody creating their own shots and not really good enough on defense. Missing that true PG for sure. Hopefully these awful showings will prepare them for what will be needed in the MAAC. We should be much more competitive in a game like this, really disheartening. Try and go get a win tomorrow and end this slide.

Saints fighting, but just not enough firepower today. Back at it tomorrow at 11AM.

These Saints just are not very good right now. IMO team has yet to establish an identity and players are providing inconsistent contributions game to game. Who are the on floor leaders and go to players that GMAC can count on? Lots of work to be done. Will be interesting to see how the team regroups and responds in the 3rd place game tomorrow.

Well, we don't have to worry too much about GMAC getting grabbed up any time soon by a major DI school. He's got a lot of work to do here at Siena before any major offers him the big money.

58 points…..feels a lot like Carm, jimmy and Mitch. Hard to win games when you don't score. Seems to be a common theme at Siena. It blows my team that recent Siena teams never have scoring. This team can’t score, a couple years ago Javion could only score and then before that we had Pickett and Manny but that coach was so bad he could not even win with NBA level talent.

It seems Miami Ohio packed the paint and shut off the driving lanes and entry passes, and Siena had to rely on the three which is not a strength of this team. With limited drives came limited FTs and that is where Siena in theory had an advantage. It won't get any easier tomorrow no matter the competition. Who ever loses plays Siena and with either on Siena will be the underdog.

I fully expect a better performance tomorrow against Mercer, which looks like the opponent. I don’t think these players want to see a really ticked off coach because Gerry will be very ticked off if we don’t reduce our turnovers and stop giving up our opponents second and third chances to score.
