Special notes on this Monday matchup: Gametime is 11 AM and the broadcast will not be available on ESPN plus. Pay per-view is available via passtheballlive website. Both games in Ft. Meyers should be available with the PTB subscription. The game is also available, audio only, on JAMZ 96.3.
Saints have never faced the Redhawks (2-2), ranked 6th in the MAC conference preseason polling. Should be good game, these two teams match up well with each other. Kenpom has Miami OH at the number 205 spot.

Miami Ohio lives off the three. Siena has to guard the 3point line and get to the FT line and build up an advantage there. Miami relying a lot on the three doesn't get to the line often which may be good for Carey to stay out of foul trouble.

I think in order to pull this one out, Saints will need to get back to playing the way they started the season and Carey needs to stay out of foul trouble and play more than he sits. Hope Shoats gets back to playing the way he is capable of. Unfortunately will be listening to this one on the radio because the streaming option for the tournament is BS. Go Saints!

MAAC vs MAC
Miami OH also has a Xavier transfer - Kam Craft 6’6 averaging 17.5 PPG and shooting 48% from the field and from three.
Also a very good player Eian Elmer 6’6 - 15 and 6 shooting 54%.
Peter Suder a 6’5 transfer from Bellarmine averages 11.5 - 4 - 3.5
They’re a bigger team so Siena will need to use their quickness and hit the glass to limit them to one shot.
We have to hit shots to have a shot in this game the first of three on a neutral court and first of two in Florida.

Saints shooting abysmal to start the game and Redhawks red hot. Siena has yet to establish who are the reliable and consistent players they can rely on every game.
Not sure Saints could play a worse half of basketball. Let's see what GMAC and the team do in the second half. So far this effort is a stinker on both ends of the floor.

This team has not shown so far this season that 3 PT shooting is their strength, yet they go out and jack up 17 in the first half making only 5 (29%). Awful.

Saints need to limit points of TO, seems to be a problem early part of this season. Winning the battle on the boards in the second half will keep the Saints in this one. To win Siena needs to find the bottom of the net. It's like the old days, listening to road game on the radio today. Let's hope for a better second half.
