A few things... a) I want Carm gone. The things he's said over the last year are disqualifiers. Sure we were down 3 real starters and nobody in the league wins in that situation, BUT - maybe we pull this out if Carm didn't mail it in on recruiting. b) Gio played the entire first half and a good chunk of the 2nd. He's 6'11" 260#...he's not a 5'11" PG. The dude was a hero last night. c) Gribben, Tekin and Courtney are D1 players...just not starters. They needed to be backup players for a few years and given time to develop. Additionally, Courtney could be an asset but he's not a great PG. He's had to be the leader of the team as a freshman. It's simply asking too much of the kid. He's still scoring double digits. We've had worse at point. I really hope they do the right thing. Carm will be full of excuses but he owns this (he said so himself, right). 4 wins - by an average of what, 2 baskets?!!? 5+ 20-pt losses, a few 30+ pt losses. If D'Arg and company let this stand they get what's coming to them. MC is a sophomore not a freshman. I disagree that the 3 of them are D1 caliber players. They all have many severe deficiencies. And I think their complete season stats show that. While MC can shoot if he is wide open he struggles at the rest of the game at this level. The other two have had their own struggles. I think many fans have forgotten what a complete talented D1 Siena roster looks like...because it has been so long since we have seen one.

I spoke to a good friend at the game last night. He has a former colleague who is a former Siena player and a program insider. He said Carm is definitely coming back next year and will be given a chance to turn the program around. UGH! Not the news I wanted to hear. Carm has to go! He's going to try and turn it around in front of an empty arena.

I turned it on TV just in time to see the final possession. WTF there was no play designed and we take an awful shot. Just so typical of the horrendous coaching this year. Then Care went through the motions in the handshake line before heading over for the radio interview. I wonder what pearls of wisdom he delivered and who he blamed for losing.

The more I think of it Carm could have gone over to the opposing coach at halftime to shake his hand!! Most games were over by then.

Gribben, Tekin and Courtney are D1 players...just not starters. Jesus Christ. Tekin is not a backup on a competitive D1 team. Courtney Mason is a Make-A-Wish kid that is granted 2 or 3 wishes each week by Carm. He should be playing intramurals in the ARC on Wednesday nights. Gribben can contribute on a competitive D1 team, but he is one of about 7 kids that Carm has completely ruined.

Gribben strikes me as one of those kids that has zero competitive fire, he has some skill but unfortunately he’s soft as soft can be for a big. It’s what’s bothered me from the onset. He’s a project that needs a fire lit under his a$$. I use to get into pissing matches on here with a few poster’s that called him the next RyRo because he’s tall and white. I just never saw it.
Maybe we can get a guy in here that can coach him up, but right now he’s a 9th, 10th man, he’s basically given us zip.
Tekin’s out of control most of the time & a turnover looking to happen. Mason, Winters on a decent roster could get scholarship spots but probably as a 12 & 13 to fill out a roster. They both work hard, & are high character kids, good teammates and can be good scout players in practice.
