Manhattan had no answer for Gio all night, yet Carm pulls him at the under 4 TV timeout? WHY? He got back in with with 2 min to go, and he scored 3 times! They couldnt stop him!! Gallagher should be giving Carm some credit in the postgame.
Gio missing those 2 offensive trips, during one possession game, between 3:40 and 2:22 ended up killing us.

Could believe he was out as long as he was. Gio feasted. He’s definitely a big part of the future. But guards win and our guards are the reason we have been awful even when Eley and Tekin have played.

Carm once again blows it with rotations. Gio is a man against boys on the court and Carm has him sit for 5 minutes in the 2nd half (25% of the half!) as his team blows a 10 point lead!! 🤦♂️

I believe Gio may have been cramping. I saw the trainer stretching him out on side line, give him a couple of pills to a manager who gave them to Gio who was chugging Gatorade. Either way Saints had multiple 10 point leads and could not close out the game. As pointed out this has been a signature of Carm's teams. Gio sitting out those minutes certainly did not help but it was not the only reason for the loss. Manhattan shot 62.5 percent in the second half, Siena 34.5 percent and once again Saints had more turnovers than assists.

I can’t think of a worse MAAC team in its history in all honesty. Maybe 1500 in the seats if that. Concession vendors are bemoaning they have to be open for Siena games.

1,500 is probably a good guess. None of the ten center court sections was even 50% full.
Gio was worked on for cramps but was on the bench, not being worked on, for about two minutes of game time (from about 4:00 to about 2:00) before Carm finally heard me and put him back in.
Tonight was the three month anniversary of our last home win. And it’s likely to be another eight months and change before we get our next one. President Chuck needs to clean house in the area of athletics.

Look, I understand everyone's frustration, but I was at the game, and honestly, it is one of the first games of the season with some excitement right to the end. Second half was as usual a disaster after a very decent first half. Offense in the first half looked so much more crisp and Gio - have a night!! Jaspers had no answer for Gio and he was a monster tonight. Also, I know - another loss- but to me, I give credit to the kids, all the kids, including the walkons who played there tonight. They fought hard and minus Eley, SD, and Zek, you would expect a blowout loss. Gotta credit the kids tonight and if Ojo's effort at the putback goes in, we are in OT. A tough loss, but finally a game I didn't have to leave early and was glad to stay to the last whistle!!!

Let's be honest when evaluating the Saints performance it was not very good against a very bad team and it was a another home loss. A loss that the Saints had a double digit lead multiple times. I found very little if anything to be upbeat and excited about. In fact I was laughing most of the game over the weak level of play and thinking about how far this once great program has fallen.

Or it is just fire Bobby C and tear down the roster?

Hoopdad, come on, take away 3 of the top scorers and the rebounding of Eley and SD, no matter how frustrated you are as a fan, you need to give those kids credit for working as hard as they did. They lost, but they did not fold, and when Manhattan caught up, the Saints battled back. I get your comments about the state of the program, no one is disputing that, but when players give you all they have and Gio has a night like he did, for one night at least, it was a game again. I get it, Manhattan is a weak DI team. Siena is a weak D1 team minus Eley, SD, and Tekin - those kids out there made some mistakes, but they gave it everything, and as a fan I appreciate that effort.

Patroons win was awesome, ton of energy in the Armory. If you haven't gone yet then let me know and I can give you pointers.

Its nice you being all optimistic and all, but the state of the program is the worst I can remember. Now we're regulated to looking at the "bright side" of losing to a 2-14 at home. Our two "stars" have clearly quit on this program. Neither will be here next year, ad Tekin might be Carms least favorite player, while his main competition (Courtney) is his favorite. We're a weak D-1 team WITH the entire roster. Every other team in the league would have beat us by 15-20 tonight. We just happened to play the one team in the MAAC as bad as we are. 4-30 is hard to defend. Its painfully obvious change needs to happen. Listen to those 3000 empty seats on a Friday night.

Scott announced Monty Henderson in the crowd last night, the all time blocked shots leader in Siena history! I thought the assistant coaches were very very vocal last night, maybe letting them run practice while Carm was out recruiting helped the team ? GO SAINTS!!
