I have a seat in 106 center court and ticket cost $350+ plus the 10 dollars for the girls softball raffle and before them it was men's baseball for decades. GO SAINTS!! That is similar to what I pay in section 104 on the aisle near the top of the key. But as has been pointed out the boosters and sponsors pay a lot more. All that said, Siena will probably keep Carm around next year no matter what the loss in attendance. And sadly Siena will probably honor their commitments to any player wanting to return next season. News flash: that won't be the guys you want to stick around. That from a guy who is always the optimist.

Legacy - you're paying more since your tickets are in the center. I'm off to the side...I'm in seats 1 & 2 right on the aisle. If you follow the aisle down to the court it is essentially at the baseline. yes - i knew that-just a bad joke.... dead center (50 yard line) we pay $700

These inflated attendance numbers are useless and meaningless, I’d love to see the turnstyle count less the anthem singer(s) and family, less CYO hoops promo giveaways, less any other freebies. I can’t imagine those numbers are good from a revenue standpoint or from what the County would like to see in order to make it worthwhile to keep the doors open.
I’m definitely reconsidering renewals if nothing changes. Especially when I can go see better more entertaining section 2 games.

maybe someone could post the contact info for D'Arg and for the president and the board...make it easy to send in our notes of concern. "Many" is the key to moving the metric and to D'Arg alone it's just a black void. SEIFERT@siena.edu

A source in Athletics told me they are mad about attendance. The source said they don't have 800k to get of rid Carm.
The reality is...Carm needs a major overhaul of this roster and some of the coaches this off season.
Never thought we'd see this low again. I don't watch this team, they stink. I'm not on the board often because the negative talk is not fun to read. It's the truth I know but it's not how I want to spend my leisure time.
D'Argenio needs to go...you can get Lori Antcil from Saint Rose for pennies since that school is closing. I would hope it's a improvement over D'Arg.
Anything is an improvement over D'Arg.

He’s not going anywhere so my attitude is does he listen to feedback does he replace Bobby with a hungry recruiter then I have hope. Is he willing to replace as many players a a possible. I think we have 4-5 we should keep. I have said this many times that Caem has an eye for talent and the jucos he is in look good. We need. Balance’s approach and get some experience men I. Here

Are they mad that people aren't attending or are they mad that Carm caused this. 2 totally different things. I also don't think they've done the math. You can lose 2500 season ticket holders for $625K loss for multiple years or you can eat the $800K and maintain most of your season ticket base. The cost and time to reacquire season ticket holders is fairly high. Younger folks nowadays don't like to commit to things like season tickets. Once they lose the old people like me, it will be really hard to get them back. This is a "no brainer" in my opinion. Also, I'll note they have a $150M endowment. Making that $149M isn't world ending.

Making that $149M isn't world ending. Actually the Siena endowment was $178M as of 2021. datausa.io/profile/university/siena-college#:~:text=Siena%20College%20has%20an%20endowment,total%20salary%20expenditure%20of%20102M. That said they won’t touch their endowment it’s not like it is a billion dollars every dollar is precious. We’ll likely see Carm get one more year. Bobby C should be fired and replaced with a younger modern coach who knows the portal and how CBB works in 2024. Carm needs about 8 guys to move on from this team and go into the portal. Carm needs to be more flexible and stop being stubborn and embrace the portal and JUCO. He needs to get a couple of JUCO players, a couple of grad transfers and a couple of other transfers. All older guys and no more than three frosh (JoJo Moore and two others) All 13 scholarships should be filled. No more 3 for 1 deals with walkons. Siena should expect to contend for the MAAC championship in 2024-25. Anything less is totally unacceptable. It will be year 6— last chance—no more excuses!

Here Sad to say, but unless there are some serious discussions with players that lead to the better players staying and the non-DI players deciding to leave nothing will change. The better players will end up leaving and the rest of the roster stays and any new talent just replaces the few current DI players. That leaves the bottom-line unchanged. Siena needs to lose all the Non DI group and get at least 1-9 who can compete at the DI level. Unless that happens you still only have 1-3 DI and the rest not able to compete. That is what we have now and even if you had a HOF coach at the helm it wouldn't help. Siena has to adopt a strictly transactional business model and not the more "charitable" approach of the past and honestly, I don't see that happening.

So this raises a question I asked awhile back and didn’t get an answer….even though scholarships are ‘year to year’ is the school tying Carms hand and not letting him run off kids because it’s not the Franciscan thing to do (especially the 1 for 3 kids that had to pay a year)? Does anyone know if it’s Carm or the school that if push came to shove and a kid didn’t want to leave, will they not renew the scholarship? Whoever it is, they need to understand this is a whole new world and with kids jumping every year it has to swing both ways.

It doesn't matter whose call it is if things don't change policy-wise, things won't change on the court.

I believe Carm’s hands are tied to a certain extent, if a player wants to come back they’re welcomed. I think it’s the foundation of the “we only want kids that want to be a Saint” mantra. Unless of course they’re a hired gun nil funded player.
