They call it March madness for a reason. Based on seed value, this tournament Sweet 16 round has a value of 80, led by princetons 15. However, as crazy as that is, exactly double than the expected formful value of 40, last year was crazier at 85. However, this year there were lonly two formful games compared to last years three. Will this be the round that cleans it up or is more madness in store?

UCLA/Gonzaga was a lulu. Each team seemed to have won the game in the closing seconds.

First Elite Eight without a number one. Insane! and now this will be the 4th time that no #1 seeds are in the Final 4........this seeding began in 1979 (by the way that is when the phrase March Madness was created)........prior times were 1980-2006-2011.............

Too bad Xavier stunk last night or it would have been an Elite 8 without any 1s or 2s!

What a postseason for Conference USA, they've got this Florida Atlantic run in the NCAA, North Texas and UAB are both in the NIT Final Four, and Charlotte already won the CBI.

That's an awesome stat. They are also one of the teams that have won with more than 7 losses and they did it twice. They have 8 this year... they look real strong to boot.

I think the argument can be made for UCONN being the most successful program since 1999. 4 National championships and upwards of 8 Sweet Sixteens.
Also caused me to look that Kevin Ollie (who won one of those championships) was fired 'for cause' and received a penalty from the NCAA preventing him from being hired for about 4 years (without some level of explanation to the NCAA). Seems like the charges against him were VERY similar to those against Pitino who received almost no penalty. Just odd and seems unfair. Am I missing something?
