Jalen had 6 pts in OT, and Lundy hit 2 huge 3's late.
Congrats to the Nittany Lions!! NCAA bound, and we all hope they send you to Albany!

announced by AP, Pickett made 2nd team All-American.................fantastic........... If Pickett had stayed at Siena he may have eclipsed Marc Brown as the GOAT at Siena. I know that may be blasphemous but it will go down as another what if. What if the no sit out rule had not passed when it did.

Best player to ever play at Siena! no, he didn't finish his career at Siena with playing only 3yrs (and 1 was the shortened covid season), all-time Siena great, absolutely..............Brown & Bennerman accumulated their stats in 4 yrs, Jalen got his in 5 (if you are looking at his 2 yrs at PSU which shouldn't count towards his placement in Siena lore), and that's not a knock on Pickett just the facts........plus those 2 players are really the face of Siena basketball, again had Jalen stayed then he could have possibly reached that plateau..........this is all just a reasonable & logical view, imho...................that being said, love pulling for him in every game..........

Think he needed to escape the confines of the program here to truly blossom into the player he is today. Great decision by him, too bad for Siena.

Best player to ever play at Siena! I would have to go with Ed Ubiles. I remember Jalen getting criticized on this board for dribbling near half court with his back to the basket. I think Pickett was a different player at Penn State where he had more talented team mates.

I don't know, you can make a case for Pickett given the wording. "Best to play at Siena". Meaning not necessarily whole career, but played at Siena. Another player to consider is Jack McClinton another player who supposedly would be overmatched at a higher level but instead thrived.
Of course if the wording is changed to simply "best Siena player" then it goes back to ubiles, hasbrouck brown etc.

Would have blown away Browns’s stats if he wasn’t a freshman during Brown’s senior season. If including those that played elsewhere,I was a huge aMcClinton fan but Pickett is better. Penn St has 3 legit players, Pickett’s play elevates them well beyond the teams talent. Just my 2 cents.
