Roger Wyland just said he will have information on why it was very difficult for Mitch this year. It’s about the “fans” he said.

Mitch on Channel 13 with Roger says this year was tough with fans like Saintsfan, Hoopjunkie , etc taking shots at him all year long, and he knew he was in trouble when Bill Murray and Misspractice turned on him. Hell he couldn't even get MTS to flip flop on him this year. Mitch also mentioned at games some big drunk guy yelled obscenities to him ( some think it was big papi) Mitch thought he needed to finish 500 and finish 4 or 5th in MAAC—no word on his style of play and how he mislead Siena fans. He did close by saying thanks a million Siena fans

Mitch said the fan base was difficult. It was tough for his wife to hear things about her husband at the game. Roger was trying to lead Mitch to talk about the negativity of the fans. Mitch didn't take that path.

It was all the fans fault.

I actually think he came off good in the interview and he didn't say anything that anyone on here doesn't believe. I don't think he blamed the fans at all, he said it was tough which it is with fans who have high expectations, sometimes overly high expectations.

He also said he knew the high expectations when he took the job, and because of all the winning the program has done understood the reason for the high expectations

And we shall see over next few weeks many confident coaches not afraid of the expectations at all

Rodger and our other local "media" need to remember who pays their bills. And the answer to that is WE DO. If we didn't care about college sports (or any sport they cover), they wouldn't get paid to follow 18 year old kids around like puppy dogs.

Roger was a "capital" A-- hole in this interview. Mitch was a class act. Despite Rogers prodding he held true to the green and gold. Way to go Mitch, Go away Roger or at the minimum back to UA and leave Siena alone!!!

Wow, tough to watch. Many of those questions were inappropriate in my opinion. Mitch handled himself with class. I wish him well.
