Roman Penn is now the all time assist leader at Drake........impressive............ What a point guard we let slip away. Over 400 assists. Does the we consist of Jamion Christian Who didn't or couldn't persuade him to stay? I didn't want him to leave. Was he injured during his playing year her?

Was he injured during his playing year her? a very hard attempt was made to have him stay.........but ultimately Roman had family in the Chicago area, went to HS/prep in IN, so he wanted to be in the Midwest instead............

His goal is to make it to the NBA and as of right now he is not being mentioned on any of the 2022 NBA draft boards. The reason for him to come back is to try to increase this NBA stock for the 2023 draft. Then he should stay there. I want kids whos goal is to win games for Siena, not worry about individual accomplishments. BTW, I got a newsflash for ya. It doesnt matter if you play D-3. IF you can play in the NBA, they'll find you. Once tryouts start they dont care if you're from Duke or Skidmore. Its all about being able to help an NBA team, or not. I wonder what Prosper thinks of him as an NBA prospect?

I think if you have guys good enough to be mentioned in NBA you will win more games, the roster this year doesn't have anyone on it with much hope of making it playing professionally.

I didn't see any of the LaSalle guys listed. Lionel Simmons, Doug Overton, Randy woods, Tim Legler.

That is because those players are listed under the A10 where the Explorers currently play. Site references a teams current conference. Easier because of all the alignment changes over the years.

Manny Camper with team-high 24 points and 15 rebounds in a loss for Grand Rapids in the G-League. He played 46 minutes because a few of his teammates were recently signed by NBA teams. He did not record a turnover despite playing almost the entire game.

I didn't see any of the LaSalle guys listed. Lionel Simmons, Doug Overton, Randy woods, Tim Legler. I don’t know how accurate that link or compilation of data is; not only does it appear to only list “current” members but it also lists current members whereby many of the individuals listed did not play for the MAAC when they were in college. The MAAC started in 1980 so any player listed as bring in the NBA prior to that date were NOT part of the MAAC. Another way of looking at it is Siena’s first NCAA tournament victory wasn’t part of the MAAC, rather it was the ECAC, NAC (now called the American East). To include any of Siena’s stats into the MAAC would be totally wrong/incorrect; just as a lot of that NBA link is wrong/incorrect.
