Here’s an interesting player; PF/C Alex Sobel from SHU NEC 6’8” 230 averaged approx 12 ppg 8 boards 3 blocks (top 10 nationally) and almost 60% from the floor, 1 year of eligibility. Made the jump last year from D3 to NEC and had a very good season. Reminds me a bit of Stormo.
Stats compare favorably with AA NEC career but he’s not a 3 pt threat.
We also need a SG with good range with 1 of the last 2 spots.

I would hope (and expect) that GMAC had contingency plans in place after losing AA … don’t think one of them is to rely on this board to scout talent for him this late in the cycle …

A dollar over anything Iona was willing to pay! lol AA and Tobin were so tight, he stayed at FDU when Tobin left. For the record, Tobin and AA have been in steady contact throughout this whole process. See, Tobin's not a dick. And you don’t think GMAC was? |

Looks like City Rocks 6'5" guard Gavin Doty has been offered for class of 2024. Was going to prep and reclassify to '25. Has offers from Buffalo, Cornell and other DI programs. Third team all state in Class AA out of Fulton HS NY. Big numbers in HS. I didn't see his City Rocks numbers. Three stars in verbal commits which is certainly MAAC level.

If we looking D-2, why arent we on the kid from Albany (Green Tech) at Adelphi? Deshaun Walton is about 6'5" G/F that went for 16ppg, 5reb and over 100 assists last year.
The ROY in '22-'23 has 2 years left. I think he helps right away.

Supreme Cook entered the portal fairly early. Why has he not been picked up somewhere. He was 10 and 8 in the Big East with under 30 min per game. Could be holding out to bigger NIL or maybe he is returning to GT.

I would also think most of the P6 teams have shopped in the portal by now, but if someone gets desperate they may have to pay the price. |

At this point, with his injury record at Siena, I would guess Duru would get less than his Siena deal unless they drastically overpay. |
