I know you guys dont wanna hear it, but this would be a GREAT opportunity for Carm to agree to a game AT UAlbnay. Makes too much sense with whats going on. If there was ever a time to play them at SEFCU, this would be the time...we can play the "We played you at SEFCU TWICE, so get over it...LOL" when the subject comes up, as we all know it will, in the future! Should be a great attendance comparison dats point (ignoring the "*") when showing up the TUC's advantages...see HJ, we can agree on some stuff when we step away from the National scene...

Yes, the only reason that every game in the Siena-Albany series should be played at the TUC is to avoid shutting fans out. This year you don't have that problem so makes sense to play at Albany. I would be looking for as many local games as you can find this year even if it means playing St Rose. Play as many games as you can squeeze in prior to the start of MAAC play, back to back and 3 in 4 can only help prepare you for the MAAC Tourney. I'm not sure about filling the byes in the MAAC schedule with OOC games though, that rest could be valuable in MAAC play. Would have to be another top midmajor to be worth it.

With play at Mohegan Sun ending on 11/30 according to reports and MAAC play starting on 12/8, it would appear difficult to fit in two games in between, especcially after playing 4 games in 6 days. If we did, then we would be playing 7 games in a period of 14 days. With a break in the league schedule between 12/18 and 12/29, we can probably only play one game because of the Christmas holiday. That would mean that we either play a total of 26 games or find an opponent to play on or about either January 1 or January 26, our two league byes. My guess is that finding a game on 1/1 or 1/2 is more realistic and would preserve the 1/26 break which may be more beneficial as a breather.

If you haven’t listened to Carm on the final episode of Ryan and Connor’s podcast, he indicated that the game at St. Bona is scheduled for December 22, but may be postponed to 2021-22.

Saw on Twitter that ESPN will cancel ALL Orlando tournament events for this year.
Next year: Iona is going to Disney. Not Fair that Siena is not going- they could not control the NY COVID situation.

You mean the Florida COVID situation...., In general, Siena was not responsible for the COVID situation that the country is dealing right now. Trying not to get political.

With the way this "hoax" is progressing I'm becoming more convinced that we won't play a game this season - way too much virus around and a population unwilling to wear a mask and social distance coupled with the continued obscene lack of aggressive testing and contact tracing will be the death knell of inside sports - so depressing - it didn't have to get to this point

Orlando tourney cancelled all together. Scheduling getting harder and harder. Look for us, and most everyone else, to concentrate on getting teams on the OOC schedule that are in close proximity to our campus. Syracuse, Colgate, Army, UMass, Binghamton and of course, UAlbany. Need some bus ride games during these times.

The games can happen. We've had several football games in the South where lots of people come together and for the most part practice social distancing and mask wearing. And Armageddon has not befallen upon us. Just need enough schools willing to work together to get the games scheduled for the kids. I imagine watching them on TV or computer in this crazy year is acceptable for the vast majority of us.
