I wonder, if the decision is made to not have fans in attendance, if they would move back to the ARC to save $'s... Interesting question! It would make financial sense but the question probably would be whether they legally could do it. The lawyers would be debating that I would imagine. Anyone a corporate lawyer here? You would think there would be penalties built into the contracts. I’m not a lawyer but COVID could trigger Force Majuer which could be an out. Like any contract I figure if they play at the ARC this year them The TUC would get something like an extension. They may not make any money either if no fans come

So my guess is they would be happy to have the games moved to the ARC.

The smart move if no fans are allowed or even if fans are so limited as not to be cost effective at the TUC.

Things will be telling in the next 6 weeks as to what is acceptable at sports bars once the NFL season starts.

It's unclear whether any fans would be allowed through december 21, so any cost savings should be strongly considered, especially if plans can be flexible.

What would the ARC hold during this, 1000?? This is assuming no fans are allowed at all. I'm not optimistic they are going to be allowing anyone at an indoor event in the winter if they won't even allow limited spectators at Saratoga Race Track.

What would the ARC hold during this, 1000?? I think you missed the point of the ARC discussion - IF NO FANS ARE ALLOWED - emphasis on the NO fans number - if fans are allowed the TUC would make more sense as social distancing would be much easier to implement while maintaining a rather "normal" sized crowd - we might even get actual bodies in the arena count vs the old seats sold count...in any case, I wont be there as I'm too old, have family, and don't trust all of the fans that would come in...

Unfortunately I’m not very optimistic that there will even be a game played this season.

I just can’t see College’s and University’s being able to effectively socially distance and prevent the spread of CV once kids are back on campus. That environment is just not conducive to limiting the transmission of CV. I doubt many schools will complete the fall semester on campus.

I think we all have to realize the College's priority is education of its students - putting fans in the cheap or not so cheap seats for a sporting event is a secondary priority and I believe the state of the virus will dictate that we watch on tv or via live stream...British soccer did it and the games did not suffer...they piped in fan noise and that, according to many, would be a major improvement for a Siena home game...

We’re having MLB & NBA so if they can play those games they can easily play college basketball. It all depends on if the ncaa and colleges want to try and figure it out or not. I’m still holding out hope there will be college basketball (just maybe no fans till January).
