The date would work (Yale was December 14), but it would mean one fewer home game and lost revenue. While we all expect a more limited capacity at the TUC this year, losing another 7.7% of what will be a smaller revenue pot will not help financially.
With the MAAC playing two league games in December, teams would play 18 games in 2021. The Ivies only have to play 14 in that period. It would appear that Yale could move some of its non-league games to 2021, but the priority may not be a trip to Albany.

Jeff Goodman Tweet: I polled more than 250 D-1 men’s basketball head coaches: - 42 percent “Still try and play season normal.” - 32 percent “Move to Jan., play both league & non-league games. - 24 percent “Move to Jan. and only play league games. - 2 percent “Cancel the Season. My guess is that if the season is played at all option three will be the way it goes. I could live with that. That would actually be an interesting season.

It's inevitable - they all will - too much variability state to state and no national plan to even attempt to stabilize everything - this is only getting worse

Once the election is over and the Dems take over the WH it will disappear and the season can start with fans in January.

So God willing Siena’s OOC games will be—
Home: Colgate, Towson, Holy Cross (looks like they might have agreed to move?)
Away: St. Louis, St. Bonaventure, Bucknell, American
Neutral: Army (Barclays) 3 in Orlando tournament
Looks like only 13 regular season home games but it is what it is I guess.
BTW the NCAA sucks but since the semester ends earlier this year Tate should be able to play Dec 1?

Profile photo, opens profile page on Twitter in a new tab Mark Singelais @marksingelais Carmen Maciariello adder there’s “no shot” Siena would have Dana Tate Jr. available for the fall semester after transferring from URI last January. “There’s no waiver. He’s got to sit first semester.” 12:44 PM · Jul 20, 2020 1 But to clarify, the 1st/fall semester ends before Thanksgiving, so he is eligible to play right after it ends, right?

I obviously missed something. I thought folks were saying Northeastern would be the team from the CAA

Nothing was ever announced publically. Carm did say Towson on the zoom meeting with PSP members and others, but asked that it not be made public. Northeastern was the speculation of HJ and others. Towson game is scheduled for December 19.

I wonder, if the decision is made to not have fans in attendance, if they would move back to the ARC to save $'s...

I wonder, if the decision is made to not have fans in attendance, if they would move back to the ARC to save $'s... Interesting question! It would make financial sense but the question probably would be whether they legally could do it. The lawyers would be debating that I would imagine. Anyone a corporate lawyer here? You would think there would be penalties built into the contracts.
