Creating a shortage isn’t a bad thing.

Creating a shortage isn’t a bad thing. . Yes it is. I understand how you feel about this, but even if the upper level was open, how many more people do you think would show up? Until the games consistently draw in the 7,000 range, and until the number of season ticket holders increases, I don't have a problem with closing off the upper level and creating a dense, noisy crowd downstairs.

My issue is advertising that only "X" number of seats remain days before the game - the TUC should have a pretty good idea of where sales are heading and could easily (my word) remove a curtain or two to anticipate/accommodate additional need - the problem with waiting on seating changes until "the number of season ticket holders increases" is that any increase, and I'm certain there will be some for next season, is not going to happen between now and the end of this season. Our resurgence has surprised many but Siena/TUC are in position to open the floodgates (hyperbole) as the local fans/demand grows. When you say only "X" seats remain, many, if not all, potential ticket buyers won't risk the trip down and the hassle and $'s to park, only to find out there is no room at the Inn... We are not in the position to turn people away YET!

Creating a shortage isn’t a bad thing. Our current roster has a "shortage" of offensive production and I doubt any on this board (excluding papi) would say that's not a bad thing...

This game really scares me. QU is playing really well and has more scoring options than we do. Coach has to get this team refocused on what we do well. Hope the Iona stinker brings a greater resolve.

They all scare me. That's why last night really hurt would've taken a lot of pressure off Sunday. We really need to win our final three regular season home games. We've been tremendous on the road (8-7, 7-6 in true road games) but only 5-6 at home. We need to protect the home court. Should be a big crowd on Sunday afternoon. We have an advantage in this game (and with a small margin for error any advantage is important) we played Wednesday and don't play until Sunday. Quinnipiac has to travel to Albany after playing Marist on Friday night at home. Jamion and company will have them ready. Let's hope we can get the job done!!

I don’t mind advertising 700 left, because you know damn well if those sell more will be made available!

If that is the case that's great but if they turn anyone away that comes down to the arena when there are 8,000 seats sitting empty then that is bad business. Only one that profits from the limited tickets remaining announcements is Ticketmaster as it draws more people online to buy tickets and pay the exorbitant fees.

The Arc year’s back is a different story! The Sat night game when they announced similar sales, there was a line out both box office doors. They were not turning anyone away...not a chance!
