This game really scares me. QU is playing really well and has more scoring options than we do. Coach has to get this team refocused on what we do well. Hope the Iona stinker brings a greater resolve. Doesn’t scar me. Quinny’s on the road and plsyibg their third games in 5-6 days. Someone bring Quinny players the oxygen tanks.

2 parents and 2 kids, with seats behind the basket, costs $71.75. Factor in parking, snacks and a drink and now you have plenty of families turned away or not wanting to go back after spending that much. If you want lower ticket prices; go see a UA game. If you want to be in the band wagon for the next Four year’s come see Siena.

They need to come up with a family package to draw the 35 to 50 year old fans in off the streets with kids in tow. Thats the market they have ignored in favor of the faithful old guard....we ain't gonna live forever! People let spend their money one what they want too. I don’t feel back for people when they choose to have cable TV and other entertainment options that maybe they don’t “need”. Everyone makes choices on their discretionary funds. Siena winning the next few years will bring back fans.

PS: I’m not against better marketing especially for younger folks (families or not). I’d love more younger families to become regular fans but I don’t believe money/price is the “only” reasons why that democratic isn’t attending. Time, jobs, being parents also probably come into play.

IS I wish I had your optimism. If we don't get an increase in scoring from our complimentary players we can't win this game. Dunleavy has Quinny playing at a higher level than most of the MAAC. If we don't win this game I think we go 2-3 over the next 5 games. I hope I'm wrong.

Our breakdown in defense cost us the Ione game more so than our “lack of offense”. We’ve been winning all our close games with defense not offense.

Of course you do. Not going to continue to win the close games by playing defense. See Wednesday night as an example where Fisher looked like a puppet trying to defend his guy and that guy single handily beat Siena. JC said in paper today they missed 15 bunnies or wide open shots. If they make 5 of those shots it’s a win. There going to have to score points and make atleast 10 3’s to win tomorrow. Quinny shots to many 3’s and makes them at a high clip not to. Siena does open as a 2.5 point favorite which surprises me since tbey don’t play as well at home,

I don’t disagree that it’d be nice to score in say the 60’s just to give us a cushion but make no mistake if we hold Quinny to under 60, we have a great chance to win that game. I predict Siena 63 Quinny 59 tomorrow.

Also let me add; how many two game MAAC losing streaks does Siena have this season? One, the very first two games of the season. What makes anyone thing JC’s not a good/great HC that cant figure out how to win a MAAC game?
I like our odds tomorrow and Quinny doesn’t scare me (or the team) in the slightest.
We’ll see what happens tomorrow.
Let’s just say, for sake of argument, that Quinny miraculously wins the game. So what, we’ll rebound and figure out as a team how to win the next game (games).
Have a little faith Siena fans. Our journey has just begun.

This has nothing to do with not having faith. I am enjoying the ride and everything the season has brought so far. The defensive I agree is carrying them, however they can’t rely on holding teams to under 60 points and winning if they can’t score consistently. These 7-9 minute scoring droughts put more pressure on them defensively and puts more minutes on Fisher and more pressure on JP. Hopefully Ratliff is back tomorrow who is someone that can make a shot and provided a little more depth.
I see a close game, but Quinny by 4. I think Siena finishes as a 5 seed. Hope I am wrong!

Ok, I’ll tell you now; you’re wrong. Andy and I have already called Siena a top three pick after the first 4-5 games of the season. I’m sticking with top three finish and a win over Quinny tomorrow.

I had top 2 finish as well but the Iona loss and Monmouth loss at home makes it almost impossible. Loss no one talking about anymore is SPU, and I know we never win there but SPU is terrible
