Carm won a National Championship?? No, and I personally like having that National Championship too. I know some fans don’t care about it but I sure do. However, I still feel Carm will eventually be remembered as one of Siena’s better coaches before he eventually moves into bigger programs (hopefully after a long string of Siena NCAA tournaments). I loved it at the time - I really did. But it gave me a false sense of optimism. I REALLY thought it would propel us to bigger success in following years. That never happened.

He’ll I hope he’s successful & wants to stay @ Siena for the next 30 years, a la Bob McKillop. Bob’s a rare breed for sure & not highly compensated. I’d love to see the same level of success and dedication here!

I won’t say no if Carm’s successful and here for 30 years but I’ll be extremely grateful if he stays at Siena for at least a three peat (like Fran) of Siena NCAA Tournament appearances. Then he can move into bigger/grater programs.

Looks like we’re done barring any more departures:
Have at it boys.

Any info on what he did or why he didn't play in 2021-22? Injured last two seasons is what I saw. Just beyond my comprehension there are no other centers out there.

I saw that too, but injury not specified. I was hoping we'd get a young center to back up Stormo this year, so we don't have to start from scratch in 2023.

I think at this point the closest to a big that Carm has brought in as a freshman is Bennett K at 6'8" 185. He's clearly decided it's not worth the resources to bring in freshman bigs and let them develop and maybe with the transfer rules he is right. He inherited Kyle Young and apparently that has scarred him from ever wanting another freshman big.

Wouldnt he have 2 years left he only played 2 JC years, and his only one at SJU in '19-'20?? He hasnt played in 2 years according to ESPN, and that one year would classify as a Covid year.

Brian Moore from Kingston, and a JC in OK, signed with Murray St.
St Rose and Iona were 2 of many offers for the 6'3" guard
