I know Tay Fisher was always more of a 3 point shooting specialist than a distributor but it would be nice to get an “assist” from Tay here. Gains has been racking up assists lately Lol. Why not….Carm has him doing practically everything else.

Tay already tried to assist us with a kid a few years ago. Some kid named Justin Robinson. Think he was a relative?
Whatever happened to him anyway?

Has anyone seen Albany HS guard Isaiah Austin? That kid can flat out score!! Any which way too. Great shooter. Finishes in the paint, and at the rim. Gets his own shot whenever he wants. Check him out on YouTube. He's #0 for the Falcons.
Had 35 vs Shaker last Thursday, and 39 vs Newburgh on Tuesday. Both games are on Youtube in a condensed version (best idea ever! probably 8-10 min total) so its a very easy watch.
Could be the first kid from Albany HS to play for Siena in 40 years (Troy Turner).....if we recruit him! Sleeper deluxe IMO

I saw this today about kid from Green Tech who we are reportedly recruiting
Dayshaun Walton, Green Tech--As a big guard at 6-foot-6, Walton is a high-level scorer and defensive tone setter with his ability to block shots and defend the rim.
While he's averaging 24 points and nine rebounds and six assists, leading Green Tech in each of these statistical categories, his workload has not gone under noticed.
The Class of 2022 product recently pulled in an offer from Augusta and now has Albany and Siena in active pursuit of him. He continues to author a storybook ending to a commendable four-year career while emerging into one of the state's top two-way threats.

Has offers from Old Dominion, Radford, Bryant, La Salle, Rhode Island and Wake Forest Plays at a prep school in Virginia. Has a 6'9" teammate going to Syracuse (maybe where we got our tip from?). Both parents played basketball at William & Mary.

Interesting big entered the portal. SENYN'DIAYE soph not getting any run at West Virginia. 6'10" 245 and runs the floor well on video. Looks like he played at Hoosac School. Might be worth a look.

Kind of weird that his only other scholarship offer was from Marshall Univ. Maybe he has family down there? Being from the Hoosac School could help if he liked the area in upstate NY. Great size and can move. Worst case he's a legit backup. ****(See he attended Huntington Prep in WV also)*** *I saw Pauli Paulicap on the WV roster? So thats Man, DePaul and now WV in 3 consecutive years. Thats not good for college basketball. Rich* Kelly from Quinny also did: Quinny, BC, and now UMass without sitting. THAT needs to stop in NCAA D-1. Only transfer Id allow for the 2nd concsecutive year would be back to their original school like Barry (Dartmouth, Temple, back to Dartmouth), Vaughn (Rider, Ole Miss, back to Rider) or Marfo (Quinny, Texas A&M and back to Quinny).

Question about recruiting kids from the portal. I assume coaches are allowed to start making contact immediately once someone goes into it, correct? There is no ‘quiet period’ or window that restricts contact with them, is there?

There is no ‘quiet period’ or window that restricts contact with them, is there? correct. if you’re in the portal, you can be recruited immediately. In fact, chances are if you haven’t made contact with anyone around the kid until the time he hits the portal, you’re already late.

But I have a feeling not for long. Siena should definitely be looking at this kid!
