Tyrone Perry a four year player at Lafayette at PG has entered the portal. If Siena is looking to augment/stablize the PG position for next year he could be worth a look. Decent numbers in points and assists. My question is however, he is getting 35+ minutes a game this year so why would he pick mid season to enter the portal? Maybe he graduated, but why not finish out the season?

Another upperclassman PG enters the portal. Antonio Daye Jr. from Fordham. Averages 16 and 3 assists per game.

Not a primary need, but Sean Durugordon a 3.5 star freshman SF at Missouri but from Queens NY and getting only 5 minutes a game but scoring 3 and 2 rebounds in 12 games. He had 11 in 6 minutes vs. Kansas.
He was recruited by multiple MAAC schools but not Siena.

Sean Durugordon is a 6'6" 220 wing that has left Missouri in his freshman year. He's from Queens, so guessing he will come home. Played at he The Canterbury School last year.
Played in 12 games, only 6 min a game, and he got 3ppg. 3.5 star kid recruited by a few MAAC schools and higher (DePaul, Georgia and Seton Hall)
IF he's looking to come back to the state, maybe we got a shot, or we'll play against him, who knows?

Tobe Awaka, a 6'9" kid from Cardinal Hayes (NYC) is someone I hope we get involved with. Has 6 offers including: Manhattan, St. Peters and Marist.
Had 23 and 14 yesterday vs Bergen Catholic at the NY/NJ showcase at Iona. Big, strong rebounder that we need.

News on Brian Moore from Kingston
We see so many local prospects come and go over the years and we try our best to follow their careers. One Kingston native was a standout in 2019 and despite earning several D2 offers didn’t accomplish his dream of playing Division 1 basketball. He attended Believe Prep in 2020 and fell short again but that’s when 6’3” PG Brian Moore Jr ‘22 decided to attend Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College. Due to his improved level of play at the JUCO, Moore now has accumulated am impressive 25 Division I offers.
Moore’s Senior year at Kingston High School he tore it up averaging almost 30 points a game helping his team win a Section 9 Title and an NYSPHSAA Class AA Final four berth. Despite the tremendous success he only received D2 offers from schools like St. Rose, Dominican and Assumption. His dream was to play college at the highest level so despite the interest he made the move to Believe Prep following his graduation.
While at Prep school Moore continued to light it up the scoreboards finishing as a one of their leading scorers and go to options. He was good for 20 points a night and even had a game finishing with 38 including 10 made threes. Moore’s team was extremely successful again and he was a huge reason yet because of the pandemic or fit still was without the offers he was looking for.
The Prep season now over he had to make a tough decision to pass on all the great D2 programs for Junior College in Oklahoma. We have seen so many guys go to Juco and either fade away or lose love for the game, but Moore absolutely hasn’t. He seems to have taken his games to even higher level becoming one of the most sought-after prospects in the country. All the criticism or doubt he received from college scouts seem to be fading away.
While at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Moore’s been named Athlete of the week twice and is top ten nationally in points this season. Moore is averaging an impressive 22.5 points per night and recently had 47 in a game which is the second most ever scored for the program. He’s going to be a Junior College All-American, he has 25 D1 offers and is inching closer to making his dream come true.
When we spoke to the New York native he said he hasn’t decided to trim his list or even set a commitment date. He’s extremely grateful for all the offers and wants everyone to know his recruitment is still wide open. Moore’s ability to not only persevere through the doubt but improve really is a testament to his character. We can’t wait to see his journey come full circle and announce where he will be playing for the next three seasons.

I know Tay Fisher was always more of a 3 point shooting specialist than a distributor but it would be nice to get an “assist” from Tay here.
