What would be so bad about making your academic life a little easier by taking less classes and graduating in five years? Didn't no less than Brett Bisping do that? Was he crazy too? Didn’t Brett have that extra year because of an injury that caused him to miss most of a season? Think he was injured in a game at Fordham. He could have graduated in 4 and moved on and he decided to not graduate and stay for 5th year

Yes, he could have graduated in 4 years and kept all his options open to go anywhere for his 5th year but opted to lessen his workload and graduate in 5 years instead. I have no reason to think Don Carey is crazy if he decides to do the same. Different strokes for different folks. Now it's different if we are talking about a Sammy Friday or Jimmy Ratliff where staying for a 5th year might not be an option. In that case you really would be crazy to not graduate if you can and keep all options open.

We had been rumored to have interest in Fizulich during his senior year, but he's off to Marquette as a Walk-on.

Is there a timeline on when Makhtar Gueye will make a decision?
If you were to replace Burns with someone similar, he'd be a guy who might be able to do it with.
A 6-10 athletic guy who can handle and make his FTs. We've seen what the Pickett and Roll can do for a guy with those particular skills..

Siena has probably the best combo of PT/impact with chance of going to NCAA's of the 5 he's looking at. The Pickett and Roll should only compound his potential to end his career on a high note like he wants.

If they don't and with a little development he could put up some big numbers in the Pickett and Roll. Wouldn't be a shock if his sophomore year winds up his best statistically.

Kyle's per 30 minutes numbers were basically 11 & 10 as a frosh....so yeah....he could just take control of it if he doesn't have competition early. Plus, he also technically had the best Drtg of all players in the rotation.

He had to have had a pretty amazingly low FG% against him, unfortunately a huge percentage of the misses he forced were grabbed as offensive rebounds. That is something I think he can improve on with just a little improvement in quickness. He did such a good job on defense and then just couldn't turn around quick enough to grab the board.

Sounds like BC is leading for him based on his comments. I'm not so sure he's our guy. It appears he's dependent on the transfer rules changing to be eligible right away. The last thing we need is another sit out big man eating up a scholarship. I'd like rather secure a grad transfer who's guaranteed eligible immediately.
