C’mon Mike that’s a ridiculous take. I’ve been a Siena fan for near 40 years, I have no issue attending a few UA games I also attend HS games. UAs a pretty entertaining product right now. I like basketball. Think Union College grads/fans go to RPI games and foot on the Engineers? To have a better year than them? Lol. You're not a true Siena fan of you root for UA. Is anyone out here that naive to think Clickclack has gone to a Siena game and rooted for us to win? Well if you think that, you must think Yankee fans root for the Red Sox in their spare time. OMG! C'mon "Sam" - always thought you were quite deep in your knowledge of the sports world, not just the goings on in Smallbany. "Norm" and "Cliff" must be living in your dive during this cold snap...good for business but not so good for the gray cells. Guarantee that real fans root for teams other than the ones whose names have been air brushed onto their wife beater shirts! Yankee fans would have been praying for either the Rays, the Orioles or the Blue Jays when any of those three were playing the Red Sox as last season wound down. Go back to Bracket Buster days - guarantee that UA fans would have been rooting for Siena had we been matched up in a game against UVM - if the game were at the TUC there would have been UA fans there. Do you think Yankee fans that live in Tampa (and there are thousands of them and they live there all year) don't go to games that don't feature their Yankees?

I wasn't trying convert anyone but simply offered folks a chance to come out and see an OK product...doesn't mean you have to buy season tickets, become a booster and load up on purple gear.
I know UA fans would go and check out Fran's teams...it was a great product and some of my friends who worked downtown would go and check out a game. Put down the pitchfork.

You're a legendary Siena hater. The timid, nice guy act can fool Barnaby Jones, but you and I both know you root for Siena to lose every game. You can deny it to continue your Oscar worthy act, but you and I both know its true. Those "friends" youre referring to are the ones that think like MP. YOU think like me. You hate Siena and hope they lose every game. Deny it

I just got this Dodgeball imagery of you sitting on a couch trying to convince clickclack that: 'For all our blustery back-and-forth, we're really pretty much the same guy.'

I'm an Albany fan who had season tickets to both teams for many years. I stopped getting Siena season tickets several years ago. Still attend a few games and watch on tv or internet.

Myself as a fan? A 7. I’m not in area for most of the home games but I do attend away games that are close to me.
I remember watching the team on MSG during the late 90s, and I was a student when Fran won the first MAAC championship. I’ve been to four NCAA tournaments games in person.
Currently, my fandom is down due to the losing. Rarely listen to the radio show now, but I do make attempts to read the board and news articles. I got a Roku Player and I am excited about watching those telecasts on my flat screen in HD.
When I was in the area this December, I wanted to check out UA but I’m a distance away from the Albany area. Cold temperatures didn’t help either.

Having grown up in the Poughkeepsie area I attended a bunch of Marist games growing up. When college selection time came, I was deciding between Northeastern, Western New England, and Siena. I chose Siena and upon arriving on campus was immediately hooked. Dwayne Archbold and I became quick friends at freshman orientation. I attended every home game and a decent amount of road games while a student, including making the trip to Denver for the NCAA tourney against Arkansas.
After graduating I was working in Manhattan but made as many trips to Albany as possible, and always saw Siena when they were local to the city. I also made the trip to Tampa for the Tay Fisher game. I have since settled back in the Fishkill area (near Poughkeepsie). I coach high school basketball which limits my trips to Albany, but I get there whenever I can, and always attend the MAAC tournament with my family, and meet up with some old college friends.
I love the school first, then the basketball team. I could not think of a better place for me to have spent four of the most formative years of my life. The basketball program will always have my support both as a fan and financially whenever they ask, as will the school. While these past 8 years haven't always been the most enjoyable, it doesn't change my feelings.

You hate Siena and hope they lose every game. Deny it LOL..years ago that was absolutely the case. Honestly and you can believe me or not, last 3 or 4 years it's been largely replaced with curiosity about how you are doing and at times pity. But I suspect you won't believe me anyway, so whatever. P.S. I never really hated Siena the program...still don't. I largely despised a portion of the Siena fan-base that would take constant runs at UA the school, program etc. So honestly, it's been a bit surreal to see you humbled. Maybe the rooting for you to lose will return at some point. Who knows, right now I'm just here to watch the
