From what I've seen he's doing a pretty good job. This gig kind of suits his personality.

I thought he did well also, and agree that this really is a good personality fit.

He showed his knowledge of the game when he said the hand through the hoop/net was a clean block!

He showed his knowledge of the game when he said the hand through the hoop/net was a clean block! He said live it looked like a clean block (and it did). I do agree it sounded a bit misconstrued. Patsos on national TV is a welcomed thing. He's done well, good on him.

My favorite part was the picture they showed with Jimmy playing the Jackie Gleason role in the Honeymooners with Norton and I thought it was hilarious!

Meanwhile Jimmy is playing TV sportcaster, Vermont John Becker coming off NCAA appearance is working Skylar Nash and has him coming in for official visit? Any wonder why Becker beats Jimmy like a drum both on the court and recruiting trail?

You nailed it Tony, good coaches NEVER stop coaching/recruiting/working - lousy coaches, like ours, see it as a part-time job.

Patsos on national TV is a welcomed thing. He's done well, good on him. Don't want to get in a pissing contest but while he may have said what you quoted, he had more than ample time to do a little homework, knowing it would be a focal point of the on-air discussions - he had the full resources of CBS to see replays, etc., and he should have stated that it was a blown call and the ensuing technical understandable. It was amazing to see how fast the NCAA issued their statement before Collins started his postgame presser. It was a four point swing error and a paid "talking head" should have known the rules. Face it, he doesn't do his homework, even for a National broadcast to a very knowledgeable viewing audience.

Anyhow I'm not going to nitpick that one. I'm more concerned that he gets Nash in here for a visit. Really don't won't to see Vt with Lamb Patella and Nash and be wondering how good Siena might have been if only...

This is the only way Siena gets to the dance, better enjoy it. I hope he steps up his game today, I can barely hear him. Slam down your clip board when Seth tries to say that Michigan will beat Louisville. Fake handshake the guy sitting next to you as you go to commercial. Call a timeout whenever you get on a roll. I want to see sweat bombs by the end of the evening!
