This team seems slightly more "disciplined" without the sloppiness he has brought the to table this year. He does have great athleticism but needs to get it under control.

Nico may take too many shots but it is undeniable that the offense bogs down when he is not in there. I am hoping against slim chances that he gets back asap. I only want him back if he is 100% committed to team concept. he played way too much like it was all about him this year. No denying his talent- but he hasn't really helped us this year, in fact I think he has hurt us I agree he needs to buy into the team concept and I also agree there is no denying he is a talent and could help this team. He's got to learn it's not about him!

If Nico has been that bad of influence on the team as being stipulated, why wasn't he suspended, red nshirted earlier in the year. The W/L column could be different. This falls squarely on the coach and his staff to handle the personal problems

It was obvious even after the suspension things weren't right. Nice to have your green and gold can do no wrong attitude back. But most know when you have a personnel problem you have to take care of it quickly especially in a team atmosphere.

Here is something I hadn't heard before: a poster on Baltimore Hoops claims that Nico wanted to redshirt and Jimmy would not let him. I find that hard to believe but in this wacky season, virtually anything seems possible. Anyone hear this one before?

No, I actually said earlier in the thread that maybe one of Jimmy's fault is allowing too much freedom/lease to allow kids to make mistakes and then hopefully learn from those mistakes. Finally, IMO Jimmy and/or the Admin had enough. I put my green & gold glasses on to fight with others who can't see any good in the coach/admin and who only complain. You sir, are one of those who'll I'll continue to fight Siena BB with. You'll never be able to get me to not lobe my favorite team no matter what you say or all the facts you may have to support your position. I'm a Siena fan; win/lose; good coach or not; etc.,

Your like click the school can do no wrong. I was educated trained by the same school to meet all challenges and opportunities and correct them when necessary. Having worked in the private sector being responsible for corporations not ab le to sit back and look at the program as you.

Like to find out more about this, if true and the kid is saying I'm not up to playing I'm in pain I want to RS and the school is saying tough play through it, I can see why an attitude would develop. Not saying it's true but it could explain why a kid who didn't appear to be a problem last year is suddenly an issue this year. It's really too bad for all involved no matter what the reason.

Having worked in the private sector being responsible for corporations not ab le to sit back and look at the program as you. It's my fault, I guess I'm not clear. I'm not saying the school, coaches, players, etc aren't at fault. All I'm saying is it doesn't matter, I'll still be a Siena fan. I do not have some predetermine criteria that means I'll only be a supportive Siena fan "if" ... . I'm saying I'll be a Siena fan regardless. You and others have "criteria" in order to show support (i.e., be a Siena fan). That's fine. Just stop judging me (with stupid green & gold glasses comments). I don't need to have any criteria what so ever to "limit" my Siena Fandom. I will be a Siena fan in good times as well as bad times. It's the bad times where the players/coaches/and other Siena fans need a fan like me to help them through it. I'm willing to take the the s*!$ but only for so long before I fight back and defend my favorite team. I've had enough and you won't here the last free me (unless Tony bans me from the site). Then I'll continue in public and at the games.

If its the poster that goes by "Baltimore Baller" out here under a different alias, YES, it's possible.

No. Thats not what I'm saying. In case you haven't noticed, BB has a unhealthy infatuation with destroying our HC, and I would bet he/she would say virtually anything to put a bad light on JP. Think about it. IF this story had any truth to it, Nico would have been out of there Dec 14th looking for a new school. IF Nico was your son, is he playing 7 games during the break, or legit shopping from his Md home as he starts his Jan-Jan RS.
