If AJ English needed development, every player can use it. AJ English was one of those late signing, under-the-radar, 6-4 scoring athletes that I'm talking about. He was out there forever and then because nobody recruited him, he went prep at St. Thomas More. He had a decent ESPN ranking too. He was just stuck in Delaware where it seems like nobody bothers to recruit. This is why DE guys Hart and English fall to mid-majors. Hart was the Delaware player of the year...and ended up at Marist. Players can be found. You just need to look. You watch highlights of Maodo Lo in prep and when he was in euroland and you wonder why the kid wasn't getting offers. He was getting interest from Siena and Columbia and ended up there....where he became a stud. Damion Lee was hidden on the prep circuit and had like us, Drexel, and someone else on him. Some guy came on the board and said we stopped calling. We all know the story about Chavaughn Lewis. We even let Mandell Thomas get away..though partly cause of grades I think. You need athletic scorers who can handle and defend. It's a guard's world. You can't let up on the recruiting of those guys.

Jimmy should take a page from David Greene and grab some good transfer like DC Dacey, Swish, and Hustler, and if we can get a guy like Preacher that would help too.

A lot of highly ranked height available in the midwest, sophs and freshmen, especially from Ohio State, Michigan, DePaul and Bradley. It's time to put our new assistant to work since that's his territory. If we could land a big one, he could sit during the coming year and suit up the following year when we really some height.

Probably the same ones who bashed Iona the last few years. Of course the simpleton response you get is "well one or two is okay now but not a whole team full of them" lol Call me a simpleton then, Iona is not the program that I want Siena to emulate in any way, shape or form. Couldn't agree more. Do it with quality kids that are going to school to get an education first and play basketball second rather than the Iona way which is play basketball first and play basketball second. If that costs us prospects or wins- so be it. This is not nor will it ever be the Siena way.

We're in the business of basketball. The new Siena way is recruit, misuse, replace, repeat. Just wait and see. He said he wants to play at a higher level. I doubt he has the MAAC on his wishlist.

Too bad, looks like he would be a nice fit, looks like a few MAAC programs had prior interest in him ... QU FF and Iona.

Maine transfer Issac Vann will visit Iona on 4/9, source told @cbssports. Averaged 16.4 PPG as a freshman. Three years remaining. We should try and bring Vann in for a visit. Iona is. KK's head might explode.

KK's head might explode. I guess the MAAC is higher than the AE....lol They have a full roster, but are still hosting 3 kids next week? Allen must be going to prep school. Now that Iona is being considered, I know we're involved too. Shocked the kid thinks the MAAC is a real big jump from the AE? He must have a level head, so I like him already.
