UAlbany is a solid program the likes of which Siena should aspire to. Siena should just be grateful they're allowed in their town. Lol

Clack you got a W at Washington but somehow you always forget they came in down their top 2 players and lost their next best player less than 5 minutes in. Yes a W but with a big *. CR yes UA in CAA football, how well do they do for the ROI. Candidly think CAA taking advantage of situation. Stand by what I suggested in 15 years, due to no fault of the school players coaches football at the level UA currently plays at will not be the same product. The pipeline for players is drying up, players will be there but not at the current caliber, larger school will gobble those good, players up. Tony spot on with finances, include any move to a more competitive league will take how much potential revenue from the athletic department with failures of making NCAA. No way UA goes 3 years in a row in CAA. IMO if UA were in the MAAC they still wouldn't have gone to the dance. As far as JP coaching, to be fair first 2Games with UA needs a pass. If memory serves me first game Siena had a substantial lead and succumbed to a talented UA team. Last year injuries plagued the team, but the team issues fell on JP. This year pressure is on. Depends on which set of players want the game more. It's absolutely ridiculous Dave that you would try the put ANY qualifier on a legitimate BCS win. No one gives a shit who didn't play, that was a legit BCS team with 13 BCS level players, UA traveled across the country and beat Washington (thank you for the correction hj) fair and square. Your lame repeated attempts to minimize that win or put an asterisk on it shows what a weasel you are. It kills you that you can no longer stick in our face that UA has never beaten a BCS team so you do the next best thing, find some other way to minimize or discredit. Not gonna happen Dave... Deal with it. As for the rest of your post, it's hard to find a more clueless poster on here as to what UA can and can't do. You simply have no clue... I agree with UA beating a BCS school, doesn't matter their condition or who played. If it did then Siena wouldn't be able to count beating GT (Mitch's season) or PennSt (CBI) since GT & PennSt sucked those two times. The NIT GT team, Stanford twice, Pitt, Vandy, Ohio St, etc were all great BCS wins. Was Prividence considered BCS when we beat them in NIT? I don't know, too many BCS schools we've beaten it's so hard to keep track. It should be a little easier for UA fans to remember their BCS victories.

It's your super bowl but it shouldn't be. It's like Holmes beating Ali after his prime. I think UA needs this game more than Siena. No, I don't think so... It's fun but we've lost it in the past and went to the ncaas. That's the goal... This one is nice on the way there, especially this year you shouldn't be an rpi killer like in years past. Actually that hasn't been the case, even against a low RPI team winning on the road will help you with the road adjustment to wins and losses. Albany doesn't realize how much they've benefited from playing a true road game in front of a neutral crowd for RPI purposes. What would be a real killer would be playing a bad Siena team in the SEFCU in front of an arena half filled with Siena fans.

BTW Scott, I was just having some fun with that rpi comment. I respect the Siena program. I was looking for a bit more outrage and it didn't happen so not sure if people agreed with me or are on to me... Lol

Just wanted to say good luck to both schools in tomorrow's game. This game is fun when both teams are showing promise early in the season, and I think that's true this year.
Enjoy the games tomorrow night, everyone.

Enjoy the games tomorrow night, everyone. Tomorrow will be only night I root against Albany ... Nice to have 2 decent programs in the area ... Throw in St Rose and it makes winters bearable up here ... Making my permanent move to Toga from VA in 10 days ... Basketball played in this decision along w lower humidity :-)
