And it took him several years to do it. Siena fans don't have that kind of patience. We had a very good first year, everyone agrees. Tough 2nd year, attributed to a lot of things. Let's see how it turns out with his kids. Now this is a reasonable idea. Very reasonable especially given the fact that we have no choice!

Wrong - I can take losing if I think the coach has a good plan and is on the right track. I don't thnk he's a good leader. This guy is alll over the place in criticizing players one game and then after he gets criticized for that, so he blames himself for everything but not really sincere. He whines about the on campus facilities, jumps on players like a maniac, his lineups change a lot. Giving scholarships tomkids no one else wants. The way the Ruland thing went down was bad - he should have had that either sold beforehand or not moved forward with him. I just don't think he is too good at manging a program. Patsos isn't on the right track? What happened to all the "he won 20 games in year one and won the CBI" talk? He's brought in some talent in Wright, Long and Clareth. You can see a base forming, to argue that he isn't on the right track because everyone got injured his second year is just playing chicken little. Expect Siena to finish mid-pack this year and continue to grow. Or ask why he hasn't beaten Ohio state yet and call for his head. You do you. I'm not sure why you are all in love with Clareth. Not 1 other D1 program thought he could contribute next year and Siena is counting on him to start.

Holt isn't good enough. Cremo and Wincowski don't fit. You are a Patsos apologist. People say Gottfried had no D1 offers, well, neither did Clareth, but he's expected to start. That's a fact, not an agenda.

I had the impression that Jimmy had a stable developing program at Loyola. In total it was a .500 record but that team was no longer a mid-pack maac team at all. That is why he was hired not because JD was too lazy to find a better guy. I was in favor of his being hired because I want a stable highly competitive team at Siena. I understand that that will take time and still believe that Jimmy can get it done. If he can do it at Loyola he can do it here. It might take more than one or two recruiting classes to get it done but I think he can and will succeed. Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards This is basically it in a nutshell. If you're looking for the next Fran than D'arg should've done a national search. If you give Patsos time to get a stable footing then he'll have Siena a upper half team most years. Getting rid of him after 3 or 4 years isn't going to let that happen. Look at Monmouth, they gave rice a few years to get it together instead of asking why he was under .500 in his second year and now he has Monmouth as a 4 seed last year and a favorite next year. I wish that Siena fans would be that patient and let us see what happens when you have Clareth, Wormly, Paige and WB as upperclassmen to see what Patsos can do. If Siena is still losing then then by all means can him. But don't judge a guy based on how his recruits do as underclassmen

But it's actually been posted here before, Nico had no D1 offers. He had interest, if he would prep. Empty S is reaching now because it was me saying it this time. Siena is banking on a kid with zero D1 offers starting, so I'm not sure why anyone has an issue with Cam getting a scholarship, since Patsos offered him twice.

Let's see Charleston, Tennessee, USC,SMU etc aren't D1 offers it said OFFERS not merely interest? I give up Luca you win. www.recruitrecon.com/index.php?option=com_recruit&task=showplayerprofile&sportid=1&id=4730Yes if you want to get technical Nico only had Siena and UMBC for 2015. A ton of high-majors wanted him to prep and offered him for 2016. Had Siena not gotten his verbal in February no question he would have a bunch of other D1 offers for 2015.
