How does that old joke go? What do you call it when a tea partier commits suicide? A good start. The Huffington Post: Report: Tea Party Leader Charged In Thad Cochran Photo Scandal Commits Suicide. google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwoeqYoR8One less lunatic

Small government, being fiscally conservative, supporting personal freedoms- sounds good to me.
Exactly what don't you like about the tea party. Obummer is a radical and a lunatic not the tea party folks.

The GOP is mad up of two wings...
Tea party/no-compromise conservatives vs Republicans who see success as a long-term process.
I hate to break to to people..but..reaching to the democrats is hardly a new strategy.
Ronald Reagan appealed in 1976 to conservative Democrats in Texas and swept President Gerald Ford in that state’s presidential primary. In North Carolina, unaffiliated voters may pick a Republican or Democratic ballot, and presidential candidates in New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary have long courted independent voters. In 2012, about half the states’ Republican primaries were open or allowed unaffiliated voters to participate.

Ok Rat, you spew the Conservative smaller government line day in and day out. I will ask you again, what government services would you cut to get to a smaller (whatever the F... that means) government that would allow the tea part whackos to start working for the country and not for the failure of our current President.
OBTW - the guy who offed himself was not a total lunatic, he was just smart enough to know the country was way better off with him planted under it!

It's interesting - I asked Elise Stefanik how she would go about repealing the Affordable Health Care Act (one of her Tea Party paid for common campaign themes with no actual plans for delivery) and specifically how she would propose terminating the features of the law, e.g., drop coverage for pre-existing conditions, terminate coverage for children not yet at 26, terminate coverage for those that obtained their current coverage through the part of the law that allows state exchanges (remember these folks couldn't get insurance other than time limited $$$$$ COBRA before), how to reinstate the donut hole in Medicare prescription drug coverage, etc., etc. Her answer - NO ANSWER AT ALL! She is just a Karl Rove puppet of the right spewing the same crap that Rat pukes and th24 does video searches for without any, I repeat ANY understanding of what the hell they say. Amazing. Instead of a voting age, we should have a voting IQ requirement. Typical tea party empty rhetoric that appeals to the idiots on the right.

And what would be the IQ under which your utopian democracy would deem all us miscreants should bow to the liberal geniuses? Thank God we have all those smart people to decide what is good for the rest of us.

There is no US breakdown by political party affiliation or disposition. That data is not available because a very significant percentage of those on the right will not submit to testing since they decry science and the scientific method, and there is no reference to IQ in the Bible! The good news for those with IQ's under 70 - they can still buy guns and they have FOX News to "educate" themselves! LOL.

I used to enjoy reading the back and forth here. Now that SF and MP have shown their true underlying hatered for people who don't agree with them I liken them to Muslims. No life lost is to be celebrated, especially not because of a political affiliation.

Here is a guy that believes in science, is a world renowned neurosurgeon, and yes you guessed it, he is a conservative. He also believes in God, I know you guys find that offensive. www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/05/16/ben-carson-said-hed-run-for-president-if-he-felt-called-by-god-well-guess-what/

Sad that you and the right, once again demonstrate the complete lack of any sense of humor or understanding of the use of overstatement. I don't hate people that disagree with me, I welcome the discourse. Unfortunately the right facing posters on this board don't like the discourse - they throw their darts and then go look for another rather than answer the points made by the other side. Totally intolerant or ignorant or both. On the other hand you will have to admit, even privately, that several of the right facing posters absolutely hate our current President solely because his views are different from their own. So I guess they are Muslim-like as well. (I would agree with that characterization as I see the Tea Party as an infant stage Taliban in this country!)

It's the left that is more Talibam-loving. The right is more aligned with the Nazi party.
