The White House issued its report on climate change today. It took four years for a group of governmental and private sector experts to amass the data, analyze it and make their predictions (many of which are already coming to fruition).

It will be interesting to see how the report gets spun by those on the right whose very existence can be traced to and supported by the fossil fuel industry and how quickly they can come to their own "convenient truths"!

Okay, the climate is changing, always has. Next question is whether we are the cause. Next question is can we do anything to stop it or slow it down. I doubt any reasonable group of scientists could answer all of those questions with unanimity.

I'm sure Mr. Krauthammer will take a swing at them and FOX will bless his position while slamming the Obama administration! It is so predictable. We should be thankful that the Republicans value the red state coal miners' jobs more than they value the rest of us. They need their votes and that fact dictates what science they may or may not agree with. God forbid they would do anything to jeopardize their political dynasties....... Laughable and sad at the same time.

Hate to burst your bubble but she ain't no meteorologist!
www.foxnews.com/on-air/personalities/janice-dean/bio/#s=a-d
Her experience on "Imus in the Morning" really puts a stamp on her expertise evaluating science. She was trained by the Reverend Billy Sol Hargis from Del Rio, Texas. I can hear him now..."Jaaayzusss, the earth is warming due to the sins of mankind, a warning from Satan himself about the fire and brimstone awaiting sinners in hell. It's the fires of hell and not the CO2 from my Packard!"

Laughable and sad at the same time. The Obama administration and Obama in particular are just a bunch of opportunists looking for any reason to further expand the size and role of government. This of course is to make our lives better. In this case, "science" is used to further implement his philosophy of big government and income redistribution. There will be taxes associated with this MP you realize that- oh they don't affect you? Is that the test? Oh and make sure you send China a memo about the "science". So much dishonesty with this administration, hopefully we can make a correction in 2014 and 2016.

Once again a thread on one subject gets hijacked by the rat. Who is talking about income redistribution, bigger government or added taxes in the climate change debate? If there are added taxes on the oil and coal consuming industries I have one word - GREAT! The only way to get their attention is via their profit laden pocketbooks.

How do you know her credentials ass?! And did u get an honors diploma like her ? Or honored by the American Meteorological Society ? Or did you get an MD from Harvard University like Charles Krauthammer?! But you know better than all of them! BULLSHIT!
