Nothing concrete here....just hearing he is having 2nd thoughts. THOSE are solid.
Who knows if it can work out? We all know it's not easy finding quality big kids at this level.

Holt still saying we have offered.
After a fantastic junior season at Troy H.S., 6'1" guard Dyaire Holt '16 solidified himself as a Division 1 prospect. He continued to shine playing on the Nike EYBL circuit with Albany City Rocks, and while he is being courted by numerous colleges, he is also on the move in terms of his high school for next year.
M. Libert Dyaire Holt Holt did nearly all he could do at Troy H.S. having been counted on to do near everything for the Flying Horses, but come September he won't be back at the school having made the decision to transfer and head to prep school, but which school he will be attending is still up in the air.
"It will either be Vermont Academy, Trinity School in Virginia, or Hoosac School," Holt admitted this past weekend at the Basketbull HOF Invitational in Springfield, Massachusetts.
He says he hopes to have a decision sometime by the second week of August as he still has to visit Hoosac and Trinity, though he already has made the trip to Vermont Academy to check out their campus.
There are many benefits in Holt's eyes for the move including the chance to play top level competition, along with being able to even stronger and have better workouts, though according to City Rocks head coach Jim Hart, there is an even bigger benefit in the move for the talented Holt.
"Dyaire has never really had a stable environment growing up," Hart said. "I think having his whole day planned from study hall to classes will be good for him. He is a great kid and a very hard worker but he has been in 5 different places in the past 2 years so just having his own room and a food schedule, that's what he needs."
It will be a big shift from what Holt has been used to, but the chance to be shine on a bigger stage, and have the stability in his life really could see him blow up in terms of his recruitment.
Right now his recruitment is still going quite well as he does hold an offer from Siena, and he says that he has interest coming in from UAB, Iona, Manhattan, Hofstra, LaSalle, and Cornell, but he knows to go from getting the interest the offers he needs to prove that he can be the point guard each of those schools are looking for, something he is ready to do.
"I feel as a strong guard I can do what I want to do a lot of times be it get into the lane or distribute. I like being on a strong team like I have here with City Rocks and like I will have at prep school because it allows me to show the colleges that I can truly be a creator and someone that can help them in the future."

Sure sounds like getting stuck at Siena is his worst nightmare right now.
