That's Fran on the sideline immediately to the right of Darnell's left arm. I wonder if Fran told Jimmy about this recruit or if Jimmy/staff were already following him.

I'd agree with that but just checking. Sometimes referring players to your old school doesn't necessarily mean you're helping a coach rather an old program.
Fran could have been letting Siena know of a recruit that maybe didn't fit the B10 but was a good get for Siena. Wishful thinking on my part.

Looks like we are recruiting Truehardt the hardest:
There doesn't seem to be much more that 6'7" forward Stafford Trueheart (Canisius '16) can do to prove himself to college coaches. A proven winner who seems to play his best against the best, Trueheart has begun to expand his game as he waits for new offers to come in after a stellar July Live Period with his AAU team Albany City Rocks.
M. Libert Stafford Trueheart After helping lead Canisius to the CHSAA Class "A" State and NYS Class "A" Federation Championships this past H.S. season, Trueheart knew the importance of the AAU season that was soon going to be ahead of him. He knew the rise in competition would force him away from the basket more so starting in April he began to work on taking his game a bit more away from the basket.
"I knew I wasn't going to be the biggest guy on the court anymore once we started playing the Nike EYBL schedule," Trueheart admitted. "I realized I was going to have to stretch out a bit more and work on passing and taking the ball inside along with being a rebounder and a shotblocker."
Rebounding and shotblocking are what made Trueheart the big recruit that he is. He picked up offers last summer playing 16u ball from Richmond, George Washington, Canisius, and Siena, and City Rocks head man Jim Hart says that was in part because schools felt like they had to get in early on a 6'7" kid that projected to be 6'9" or else miss out, but something happened along the way.
"He hasn't grown anymore," Hart said. "Schools he has offers from now might be the right level for him, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have a whole lot more because I says there is a lot of pizza in the box still with him. He isn't polished in the paint yet, and he doesn't have a perimeter game really yet, but when he plays against the best teams he performs."
Hart specifically brought up a games against Team Takeover during the EYBL season where Trueheart had 17 points, and a game against the Georgia Stars where the coach says Trueheart was blocking shots off of 7 footers.
It's that kind of impressive play and athleticism that leads Hart to believe that Atlantic 10 and MAAC schools should have all offered Trueheart as he thinks that when it's time to play against the best, Trueheart rises to the occasion.
"He can go against the big bad dogs I promise," Hart said. "He is almost better going up against the 6'9" tough guy so if you are in the MAAC or the A-10 you should definitely want Stafford."
Right now though it's still the four offers that Trueheart landed last summer that are what he has. He says that of the teams that have offered, Siena is on him the hardest, though two new schools are starting to push real hard, though they have yet to offer.
"Radford and Stetson have not yet offered but I am hearing from them both a lot," Trueheart said.
It seems to be a waiting game now to see what new will come as Trueheart continued to impress throughout the month of July in going up once again against the very best. He says that he is not in a rush to make a decision, though he would like to begin planning some visits in late August as he hopes he has shown enough to warrant being an even more coveted recruit than he is now.
"I hope I showed I have a very high motor and that I have expanded my game. Coaches say I am going to be a stretch 4 more than likely on the next level so I hope I showed them that I can do that and proved to them what I can really do."

Not a fan. He doesn't play hard all the time. Hart won't let him come here. Wants him at the biggest "name" that offers. Pretty sure I heard GW has withdrawn any interest.

Thanks for sharing. Personally, I am not a fan of the recruits who are always waiting to see who else might jump in at the last minute.

I agree. I'm s like if we get him its because no one else better wanted him. He'll string a coach along to the end and I am HJ is spot on about Hart
