What I hate more than anything else is partisan politicians-right and left! On the right..I can't stand Ted Cruz and tea party ..and the left... Obama, Pelosi, Harry Reid! Nothing bi-partisan gets done with these jerks in office! It's their way..or nothing!

I used to be a democrat, but in this great state that makes you a liberal, progressive or a socialist, at best. So I left the party. Being a conservative, I really don't have a problem with the tea party platform of smaller government, lower taxes, less fed control, etc. The dems have destroyed the middle class in this state, and the dems you listed want to do it nationally. |

I find myself agreeing with a lot of the general philosophy of the Tea Party (esp.smaller govt.), but they and the Republicans need better communicators of their message or they will take a back seat to the Dems for a long time. They also need to be able to negotiate better or no change will occur - but you have to communicate first and they are dismal at that. |

And the extreme generalizations that we see even on these boards (all conservatives only looking to squash the poor and make another penny and all liberals just looking for a communist/socialist society) just contributes to the gridlock. I've said it before - we need leaders to unite the majority of America and find rallying points to move forward on, not their own extreme sides. And I put the onus on the right as they are the ones in the hole right now and losing to a growing majority. |
