What I hate more than anything else is partisan politicians-right and left! Nothing bi-partisan gets done with these jerks in office! It's their way..or nothing! I agree whole-heartedly here. And the extreme generalizations that we see even on these boards (all conservatives only looking to squash the poor and make another penny and all liberals just looking for a communist/socialist society) just contributes to the gridlock. I've said it before - we need leaders to unite the majority of America and find rallying points to move forward on, not their own extreme sides. And I put the onus on the right as they are the ones in the hole right now and losing to a growing majority. Sometimes folks one side is right and one is wrong. Compromising is what got our government so large in the first place. And yes the dems that are in power in fact do want to increase the amount and size of social programs As we have seen. And be honest, the lunatics on the right are tame compared to the MP thinking pelosi's out there. The problem is the moderates in this country have been left out, the middle class is working harder and harder, and the solution by the dems is to raise taxes. Our country has moved so far left I'm not sure it can recover. The fact that the current president got elected twice demonstrates that. His political ideology is extreme as are his tactics.

Keep pitching the mantra that the Dems are always wrong and you'll keep getting what you got. You will lose in 2016 - mid-terms are a little different. Better get their act together soon - I don't think Priebus is the one that can do it. Extremely poor communication of their ideas (if they really have any). Keep letting those dinosaurs talk about social issues - that's working well for them. The Tea Party cannot take over with better leadership and communication of their message. You're right - get the moderates and the fringe moderates from both sides. You need a moderate grass roots effort. You let the extremes and guys looking to hang just for another 2 or 6 years control it and you lose the WH again. At this rate, I only see a foreign-relations disaster losing the Dems the WH. They will keep the economy above water enough to get it again.
