Ethan O'Day is another one we blew. He wanted to come to Siena and we took Bisping instead

We're talking the ability to penetrate, pass and shoot with intelligence rather than recklessness. Recklessness can be fun to watch when it works but intelligence wins games.

Lets hope these guys are right- Alex Kline has said for quite some time he thought Sterling would end up at Siena. Sterling can play the 1 or 2 and he can shoot all things Siena desperately needs. Sterling gives us a back up point ... gives another option at two along with White and Cole. And shores up the 3 since Cole at 6'5" Patrick can play 3. And with Hymes and Poole as Seniors next years we will have Wright,White,Taplin,Cole as our core back court players for next 3 years- If Jimmy can land this kid it would be a huge signing 247sports.com/PlayerInstitution/Sterling-Taplin-at-Williamsville-East-41144/Predictionssome Canisius moron on that other crazy board is downplaying Taplin, saying he is "over-rated"..............and that the Griffs are backing off of him.....................unreal, too bad he has played very well with City Rocks in many national events against high caliber competition all the time.................we should not over-hype him either, but no mistake he is a very good player of A10 level that would do very well in the MAAC!!!!!!!

Goldengriffin aka Golden shower? Basically means Taplin isn't interested in Canisius and GG is pissed.

Canisius moved on a months ago when Taplin made it clear he had no interest in Canisius. As for Taplin.. if Siena is fortunate enough to sign him he would be one of highest rated recruits coming in MAAC.. but once again no guarantee on any recruit

Canisius pulled their offer after his poor AAU season. Those are the facts. I have that knowledge. Pimp him all you want. It's a Siena disease, but know that Canisius backed off of him.

Of course you do- I'm sure the Baron and his staff discuss their recruiting decisions with you. Interesting with such a poor AAU season his ESPN ranking got better? The real story is Canisius was struck from his list last spring- dont really care if you believe it or not.. so if you want to call that Canisius "pulling their offer" -- whatever helps you sleep

I'm not really concerned with your information. I know his coaches at his HS (none here do) and I am well connected with the Canisius program. You are scrambling to save face, much like you had to scurry from the MAAC Board. Canisius pulled their offer. You may now return to your pimp session. Enjoy a kid who can't shoot or pass, or as a DI scout told me two weeks ago after watching them play, "no idea who the DI prospect was on the court." Note: no other players in the game are getting offers.

So now you are in with D1 scouts- his HS coach and Baron and his staff-- never knew you were such an insider..LOL.. the crap gets deeper-- you better head back over to MAAC board where they might buy that bs Taplin crossed off Griffs last spring and Baron signed a no name PG in fall - those are the facts BTW here are recruit rankings showing Taplin improved 10 spots after AAU season. When Taplin told Baron no way he was playing in tiny gym in front of 1000 fans Baron went out and signed a pg after a fierce recruiting battle between Canisius and LIU ( probably a fair fight) www.verbalcommits.com/player_rankings/2014/position/1

This guy is still pissed about losing Corey Magee to us Don't worry, Christain White will be transferring back home to save the Griffs PG spot for '14-'15 Can't be upset with Taplin for wanting to leave Buffalo and playing in a pro arena for the most successful program in the MAAC can you?

That's such a stretch? Lol. Enjoy Taplin should he sign. I'll enjoy that as much as I am when I called Long a mediocre player and seeing that come to fruition.

Why yes it is a stretch ..you are a well known Bull shitter. As for Taplin it sounds nothing but sour grapes- Canisius will seldom win a recruiting battle with Siena ( check with your scouts..LOL_) As for Long-- he will be fine- we are very happy with him at Siena ( more sour grapes) Yeah tough decision for Taplin play in Buffalo in tiny gym in front of 1000 people for a program with a small budget that has a grand total of one and done NCAA tournament appearance since Eisenhower was president. Some of these guys absolutely kill me
