Just his 2nd day back. Still a week to game 1. We'll see how quick he catches up. For what it's worth, he was the most efficient offensive guard over the 1st 2 games in Montreal. Like I said, he is a little bit behind. Do not forget that the team only had two "full" practices (Maurice White was not yet in the playing mix) before the Montreal games. Before that it was informal pickup and 4 man conditioning sessions. A lot of water has gone over the dam since Montreal and Evan has had to watch. The Montreal trip was a little bit of "show me what you've got" in Jimmy's eyes, IMHO. Evan will be fine, just see him at more of a 15-20 mpg clip unless something drastic happens to the lineup. The games haven't started yet. We'll see what Jimmy wants to do when teams are throwing a press at us, double teaming Wright, and we can't get enough scoring out of the 2G. There's a big difference between game time and practice time. Last year this time Jimmy was talking about Tyler Hubbard as a potential starter. By early December, he fell off the grid.

My own opinion. No thanks. He's here Thanks to the last guy but if I'm Patsos this is the end of the tiny defenseless guards. 15-20 in a backup role is fine. .. much more than that especially starting and you can guarantee this team finishes well under .500
The last coach was recruiting at a D2 level. That can't be denied.

2 points..
1. The team last year was dealing with stuff both on and off the court. Siena did what they had to do..and got rid of dead the weight with regards to the coach and the two trouble makers. IT'S DONE..IT'S OVER..LET'S MOVE ON!
2. This is a fresh start for EVERYONE. Let's have faith in the new coaching staff. They know what they are doing! We have see this countless times with teams..GREAT coaching staffs can turn things around in heartbeat- but they need the support of the public. Hopefully, this team can surprise people-much like Boston did last night!

If Evan isn't getting the job done, his minutes will decrease- if he is playing well he will get more minutes pretty simple really. I like What Evan can bring to table and the fact we have a coach that can play to his strength.. Evan might be the quickest player in the MAAC. I think Jimmy can take advantage of that

Hand injuries suck, it takes forever for all the tiny parts in there to heal. I had surgery on a finger in June and jammed another one in September, I can still feel both of them. It's maddening when the body feels healthy but this little one little tiny part won't work, and it holds the whole person back. I'm sure Evan is chomping at the bit to play at 100%.
