There is report out that Stephan Jiggetts has left the team for "personal reasons." His departure appears to be permanent.
Mark Singelais: 'If Stephan Jiggetts is done at UAlbany, it ends a brief but interesting local connection. He signed with Siena last fall, then decommitted."

If true, looks like Siena dodged a bullet and got the right member of that family. This program couldn't have withstood any more untimely defections. Wonder what that dude's problem is? Can't seem to settle on a school.

Maybe you should have put a question mark in the title, since you don't know.

Same reason he didn't end up at siena... Will Brown won't let him pretend to be a point guard either?

Maybe you should have put a question mark in the title, since you don't know. Per Twitter, Andrew Santillo said the UAlbany athletic spokesman confirmed it. Never want to wish ill will on a kid, I think ultimately he jilted Siena but we ended up with the player we wanted, and possibly dodged a bullet with a backcourt defection. The last thing this year's team needs is a Beard 2.0. Hope he lands on his feet at a level with which he's comfortable.

Can't seem to settle on a school. Same reason he didn't end up at siena... His stated reason he didn't end up at Siena was because he didn't want to compete for playing time with his cousin, Marquis Wright. So which member of his family plays for Albany?

UAlbany looks guard poor to me. #issues. lol... Hey, I'm just pointing out that there's a lot of "F's" where there should be "G's" on the ole' roster sheet. Usually, on most teams, I've found that's bad.

Withing knowing the roster and simply looking at the letter for position...it's a fair assessment...it won't be a problem though with multiple guys who can play 1-3...including 6-4 and 6-3 guys...

Ok but that doesn't explain all the 6-6 + guys I'm talking about. For guys classified as guards and 5-9 to 6-4 all you have is: Evans, Haas, Hooley, Odunsi, Williams. That's just 5 guys to play 3 positions. 1 of those guys only played 7 minutes all last year and 2 are new. So you have just 2 guards who played 10 or more minutes last year and only 5 total. Ouch.

Rowley and Dallas will also slip down to the 3...
