I think Jiggetts saw that he wouldn't play much this year and left, may see him at the D2 level. I agree Wright and Jiggetts played together in AAU and switched off at the point...when Patsos did not give him that same guarantee he backed out rather than take the spot like Wright did...we def got the more competitive cousin

More proof of the level the PW was recruiting at. Last year when he signed Jiggets , the PW was heralding him as a great signing. He knew he wouldn’t play at Siena when Wright and White were involved. And even in late April when teams are desperate for late help Jiggets best offers were Albany and High point. Apparently Jiggets thought he was better than he is- he didn’t want to ride the bench at UA. Like most PW recruits, Jiggets was a low major player.. and before the haters go off on that- it doesn’t mean he couldn’t have eventually been a decent player, only that he probably wasn’t going to be a ‘impact” player for UA this year I'm not sure I agree with this. If you look at the DMV metro rankings, Jiggetts was right up there with the recruits Patsos brought in. I don't think the issue is that Jiggetts isn't good. I think he just doesn't want to compete for playing time. He wants to come right in and be the man right away. He's going to have to go to a MEAC or SWAC to get setup like that. I hear Coppin State might have a recent opening in the backcourt. I dont think so-- Wright was on most local all state 1st team-- Long and White were 2nd or 3rd team all State..Jiggets was honorable mention dmvelite.com/news/2013-dmvelite-team the most telling sign was when Jiggets decommitted Albany and High point were his best offers at a time when programs are scrambling for players. The problem Jiggets had was he wasn't really a two guard and wasn't a Point guard. The truth is Jiggets wasn't going to even be in the playing group at UA-- that's why he left

You're lucky the AE is so bad. You could be a much worse team and still come in the same place as this year. I wouldn't bark up that tree last year we couldnt beat AE teams. Before we run our mouths as Siena fans I think we need a little more action and a lot less talk.

A program that was one of the worst in the nation has no bragging rights. Now I'm behind JP 100 percent. Under Fran we could talk so let's get back there .... The sooner the better.

A program that was one of the worst in the nation has no bragging rights. Incorrect--- big difference between a single team in a given year and a program-- Siena's team last year was poor... the program is very good.. if you dont know the difference I cant help you

So it's a bit of a stretch to suggest Jimmy's DMV recruits from the area are far and away better than Mitch's. dmvelite.com/news/dmvelite-2013-top-100-rankings

However you missed my point which is we were a bad low mid major team/program for the past 3 years and we're not exactly in a place to talk sh$& about anyone! Oh and by the way we're a program w/ moderate success and moderate failure and until we learn how to replace coaches w/ more success or retain coaches we will continue to be a middle of the road program and not elite. And if you don't know the difference I can't help you!

I said Siena was a bad team last year ( or last 3) with a good program. But nice try champ And you look to be the one talking $hit..KK saying the AE was not very good last year is not talking smack- its a fact- sorry if that offends you..for a fair weather fan you have a lot of snide comments, please keep them to yourself and stop attacking Siena fans --I'll be watching you something not right about you

I didn't attack anyone. All I said was that we have no business saying anything about how bad the AE is when we can't beat a team in that conf. And as far as the other thread goes about Mitch, posters are attacking a guy who was part if a very nice run. I admit he was a bad HC butt come on show the man some respect. Those posts were childish. Again not an attack but an observation based what people were posting about him. I'm no big fan of Mitch but come on. So IMHO I'm not attacking anyone on the board. Oh and fair weathered fan NO. I voted w/ my dollar and choose not support a product I didn't care for, that's how it's done!!!!!!!

KK made a comment about the AE, and you immediately told him he was out of line. As for Mitch—he was a total failure as head coach- and to make it worse he was a bullshitter, that lied to Siena, Siena admins and to Siena fans- again those are the facts.. yeah yeah Mitch was a decent asst coach—so what it doesn’t take away what he did as Siena coach. My dentist is a good guy—doesn’t make him a Siena head coach- the man single handedly put Siena into the toilet over the last 3 years… and it will take another 2 or 3 years to dig completely out of the hole he put us in. Sorry that isn’t going to get much respect on this board, nor should it.
