Good discussion here. My take? You can throw out a lot of last season's stats. It's a whole new ballgame under a new coach who actually knows what he's doing. The turnovers will go down due to the simple fact that the team will know what to do with the ball instead of waiting for the shot clock to wind down and do something ill-advised out of desperation. Lastly, I think a few of you have given up and/or judged Hymes, Audu, and Oliver prematurely. I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised by what all three of them bring to the table. I do not agree that this team has weak options at the two. Just the opposite - we're gonna see some nice sophomore jumps next season. This team is big, deep, and strong. Only Hymes and Wolfe could really use a lot of time in the weight room. As long as this team can score, it'll be fine. well said sienafan. My only concern on development for the 2s would be with Oliver. It's tough for any athlete to sit with an injury. Not only are you set back and need re-hab but you can't grow when you can't perform. At this point does anyone have a report on where Oliver is with his recovery, is he able to practice or run at this time? I wonder about Oliver as well because of the injury. He did not play in pickup when we were there but the coaches said he will be ready to play this season. Saw a kid in the gym lastnight fully recovered from an ACL tear....surgery and rehab in less than a year and he will play football and basketball at a DIII....so if they say Oliver will be ready I am counting him in

tough break but they seem to be optimistic about him being ready i am not optimistic on this topic. It is obvious that his body just doesnt stand up to the beating you take at this level. No slight on his skill... sometimes our bodies just arent cut out for what we love to do.

Well you def know more about it than I do but I tend to look for the positives in all parts of the program particularly in terms of player expectations....Lets just say I am looking forward to a great year....Marquis Wright is my kind of pg...This team has some pieces to do some exciting things on the court...once everyone accepts their roll on both ends of the floor the cohesion will bring wins
