The UAlbany game was always a great draw. Couldnt have handpicked a worse date to have the game. Someone should answer for that. Wasnt the game always on a Saturday night? Now a mid-day, holiday Sunday? Both teams being terrible certainly wont help. Guessing a LEGIT 6400, announced 8,000. In fairness to Siena, UAlbany waited too long to announce the arena renovations may not be completed in time requiring a change in venue… my understanding is the best available open date remaining at the MVP was next Sunday So this SS is their home game of the 3 game series??

Like all fans Siena fans are frontrunners. Unless you are winning championships attendance drops off. There will always be a group of diehards, but they are aging quickly and won't be around forever and they don't drive at night and have trouble going up and down the stairs. ;-) It’s the drive back to Saratoga Springs after a loss that is long … not good for my mental health 😇

Would that it were true. We flipped the order of the home games for years 2 and 3 of the contract.

Leading up to St Peters the interest is on par with gazing at the kids ant farm.

Current interest in the team is close to dead. Carm and Darg have literally taken the life out of the program and the fan base. They turned the Saints into the Aint's.

Unfortunately this team has become irrelevant to a large number of established fans. We are finding other ways to spend our time and money, this team doesnt deserve either until changes are made.

About 10% of people who go to the games even know about this board. Mike ever since the Fran “good years” attendance has fallen off. Just look around the arena and concourse. It’s very noticeable & seems to dropping each year. It’s a problem. It's ironic many folks on the board for Iowa basketball which is in the Fran years are making similar comments about declining attendance there.

If the students aren’t attending now will they become supportive after they graduate? You need a really good product to keep the locals interested and this isn’t good for anyone. The times they are a changin.

Well at last glance this isn’t Iowa and when Fran was here, coaching a legitimate MID major program, we were highly successful. Who gives a crap about Iowa when we’re among the worst LOW major programs in college hoops ranking at or near the bottom of every metric imaginable. We went from a legit D1 basketball team to a middling DII caliber program that’s miserable and unentertaining to watch. That’s what I find ironic!

I can watch just about anything that resembles a basketball game, be it pickup basketball, 7th grade competition or ____________________? fill in the blank! It's just a lot of fun. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. I'm dying to go to the rest of our home games but I'm not going to until C.M. is gone. My wife doesn't understand why I won't go, no matter how much I explain the situation to her. Condoning the job he has done is no longer feasible in my mind but it breaks my heart not to be there. I started going to games in the 70's and I'm not even an alumni. ( Murray State 73)

at this point, with the team sitting at 4-22, and more specifically 4-28 in their last 32 games which is no by no means a small sample size.........this program, the lack of talent, the obvious lack of capable coaching............this thread needs to be changed to BORED ACTIVITY............

Not much to say right now. Likely 20 point losses at Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Iona. They have a chance to beat Manhattan. Probable loss to Niagara. Lose in the first round in AC. Final record 5-27. Then we see what the aftermath is. Sadly the offseason should be much more interesting —hopefully in a positive way towards rebuilding this once great program!
