If the activity on the board is any indication of attendance it should be about 50% of normal. A lackluster UA and Siena game may bump the attendance up for the season though.

We actually started going to ladies games last year when both kids went to college. They are actually more fun and I have had the same seats at men’s games for 26 years. Carm should walk down the hall and get advice from Jim. Jim actually brings in more players and lets the competition shake out his roster and it shows with the quality of the team. He inherited a mess too and only has one senior and can’t wait to see them tomorrow.

It’s very noticeable & seems to dropping each year. It’s a problem.

Like all fans Siena fans are frontrunners. Unless you are winning championships attendance drops off. There will always be a group of diehards, but they are aging quickly and won't be around forever and they don't drive at night and have trouble going up and down the stairs. ;-)

What is Iona doing that we should be? Siena needs new blood at AD. A President and Board that supports mbb. Otherwise expect a slow death to the mbb program. Siena has not taken advantage of the flagship program for the school. I get less and less interested every year.
Siena will die in the Maac. I think Carm has the energy and the smarts. He’s not the problem.

True though.

The quality of the MAAC is way down from where it was 20 or so years ago. And the non-conference home schedule is an absolute joke and has been for many years. I can remember attending regular season home games against the likes of Syracuse, Xavier, Texas A&M, Stanford and Georgia Tech. We also hosted a number of quality mids during that time such as St. Joe’s, Northern Iowa, Vermont, Boise State, etc. Unfortunately those days are long gone.

The UAlbany game was always a great draw. Couldnt have handpicked a worse date to have the game. Someone should answer for that. Wasnt the game always on a Saturday night? Now a mid-day, holiday Sunday? Both teams being terrible certainly wont help.
Guessing a LEGIT 6400, announced 8,000.

In fairness to Siena, UAlbany waited too long to announce the arena renovations may not be completed in time requiring a change in venue… my understanding is the best available open date remaining at the MVP was next Sunday
