The plan is to get another big who will play next year. Kyle gives us another guy with plus size and a hard worker. Thinking kind of Josh Duell-like. Not a worldbeater but will give us something when he's eligible in 2021-22. And if he does wind up playing sans sit-out and we have grabbed another big, then you have a third 6-9/6-10 kid with CBB experience. Almost no risk (worst case would be he winds up buried and only used in spot minutes). Paying two years for one year of him probably isn't worth it, but getting him to pay the way for the year gives us flexibility and depth to go play bigger programs. Does this mean Ratliff is leaving now or that a guy like Knox is off the table? Be patient young man, dominos must fall and COvID needs to pass to some degree

Then, either a sit-out guy or someone like Knox would be next.

If you watch him here. He has a similar style to Young. College hoops is a guards league. If you are on a team with bad guards... your team will suck. i like him for depth!

Wow! What level of hoop is this? Not impressed by the overall talent I am seeing on the floor in his highlight video. Hope the kid can elevate his game playing with better players and against higher competition. Love the size, hope brings the skills to match.

I think we're hoping the transfer rule (I think something came out today on it regarding a required 2.3 gpa) gets worked out before Knox visits. If we know Kyle is eligible, that opens the door for another guard, but i think we're set on the perimeter this year. Maybe Knox comes but agrees to sit out a year and work on his body while Jalen and Don use up some more eligibility?

Not sure what the staff was thinking here? Needs about another 20 pounds of muscle to compete and give us some help at the center position. Big jump from JUCCO and a vary bad Western Illinois team to help Siena with valuable minutes at the 5. Is he any better than Denzel?

His team only beat three D1 opponents and he did not play in one of those games. Your two game sample seems a bit small for drawing conclusions. Not at all worrisome we are taking a kid that only played 12 minutes a game for a team that was that bad? Arrington was their first big off the bench. Their starting center played 22 mpg and averaged 6.7 ppg and 5 rpg. That's 2.4 ppg and 1 rpg more than the bigger Arrington, who averaged 10 less minutes per game. Sounds to me that now fired coach should have considered making a change to his starting lineup.

FWIW, he had the 4th best Ortg (3rd if you exclude the walk on who played only 17 mins) and the #1 Drtg on their team. So, yeah, the coach probably screwed the pooch a bit on that decision making.
