so my question is did each of those players take inadmissible benefits at some point or do all layers suffer equally? Also, it sucks that the booster wasn't even an alum Nope, just someone with a sense of entitlement, who got an ego boost from being an "insider" to the program. Not a bad person by any means. Had good intentions, and tried to be helpful, but was overly friendly with staff and players. In doing so, crossed a line that shouldn't have been crossed. The school provides guidelines for "boosters" describing what is permissible and what isn't. It has a Compliance Office that can answer any questions if any of us boosters want to know what we can and can't do.

Officially it sucks but the NCAA can’t take those memories or stats away from me. I still remember those games, player performances, wins, etc.. the NCAA can’t erase my memory and I wouldn’t let them if they tried. Yes, all those 1000 point scorers scored those points; yes Brett hit the 1500 points & 1000 rebound mark; yes Nico hit those 3’s against Monmouth upsetting the #1 seed in tournament - at least in my mind and how I remember it. I guess that’s my way of fighting back; I refuse to recognize Siena’s revised media guide. There, see how the NCAA likes those apples.

I don't care about the NCAA, one way or the other. The idea of vacating player stats is ridiculous to begin with. You can say the player was ineligible, but arrogantly acting like you can change reality is stupid and par for the course with the NCAA.

Do we retain the CBI title? Sent from my LM-V405 using proboards Yes, CBI was 2013-14 season. Violations were 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18.

The lust for another CBI likely drove JP to the Pitino side of the coaching box - he had to do something to hold his better players who knew he couldn't coach a lick...

All those years of trying to protect the players from this coach and people asked why.... this is why. No NCAA, no nit, no wins, stripped stats. There are always consequences for the players when there is a bad coach... coaches can always move on... look at pitino... players only get 4 years and that's it., what a disgrace... to see it coming was maddening.
