Picked third in the MEAC this year so sort of game a good Siena team should absolutely win. They did stay within 19 of Michigan and 17 of South Carolina so certainly have some talent. They smoked two non D1 schools in their other two games. They look to be extremely deep so wearing them down with Mayhem looks unlikely. Their leading scorer Nic Thomas is 10 for 21 from 3 this year so is someone they will have to keep an eye on and not let him get open looks from 3. Looks like the game is on ESPN3 which is good news. Winner likely to get Stony Brook who is off to a great start with wins at GW and South Carolina.

Norfolk State was picked 3rd in the MEAC this season. They are 2-2 on the season, losing both of their buy games against Michigan and South Carolina by 19 and 17 points respectively while beating a pair of non-D1 teams handily. Seems like they are about 9-10 deep. Best player is a guard named Nic Thomas, who is averaging 14 points and 3.5 assists per game. They are pretty small and don't play very fast. Don't shoot a lot of 3's. Turned it over 15 times against South Carolina on Tuesday night.
I think we probably should win this game, but it's not a pushover by any means. I trust JC will have the guys ready to go!

Is there any kind of streaming thing for this game? My dish network doesn't have ESPN3.

Mike60 - ESPN3 is the streaming channel. You should be able to log in with your Dish credentials.

Using Sagarin (which this early in the year isn't a good indicator) Siena would be favored by 9 points on a neutral floor. I don't know if there will be a Vegas line for this maybe because it counts as a tournament game. On KenPom - Siena is 220, Norfolk St. 296
If we shoot well from three and limit turnovers like the first two games - I like our chances (probably be saying that a lot this year).

I just want to play the Holy Cross/Stony Brook winner Sunday 11am because that means we won Friday night!

I 2nd that statement, so I guess I’m rooting for SB to win the prior game so we don’t have to play HC twice; but if we “have to” play HC twice - so be it. It’s like the year we played NJIT twice, if I had a choice I wouldn’t want to. On the other hand playing Purdue or any BCS school twice in a year - I’m in favor of.

I hope they traveled to Conn. early today or yesterday.
Only one picked a loss in the contest.

FWIW.... Stony Brook favored by 1 over Holy Cross. Surprised by that line, would've thought SB would've been at least -8
