Hello, everyone! The 2018 Nonconference MAAC schedule starts on November 6th and ends on December 31st this year. Looking forward reporting you all the scores and the record of the conference. Tony, if you can please move this thread to the top of the MAAC and around the NCAA section, I would appreciate it! Here's where I get my information... www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/conferences/teams/_/id/13/maac-conference

Huge opportunity for Rider to try and take down a likely top 50 team on the road. Marist, Manhattan, and Monmouth are all in tossup games. If the MAAC is going to be any good this year those are the sort of games they need to win. Obviously Siena or Fairfield winning would be huge upsets.

All MAAC teams lost on opening night, 0-6 (Siena, Fairfield, Marist, Manhattan, Monmouth, and Rider)
Closest loss was Marist at Army by 4 points.

You have to go back to the 2005-2006 season and KeeKee Clark for the last time St Peter's scored 93 points in a game. Going to be a very different brand of basketball than we are used to from St Peter's.

The MAAC gets another win tonight by this team from Loudonville? Where is that? Wait, they play home games in an arena too?
Overall MAAC record: 2-6

Going to be a very different brand of basketball than we are used to from St Peter's. Way back in the Gibbons Gardens days, St. Pete's came to Loudonvile and was leading the then Indians by at least 30 points in the second half due to the fact that their star, Elnardo Webster, kept getting uncontested layups off of steals. Sick of this Coach Culnan puts in rarely used Rick Gerard, a truly fearsome human who became a beloved Colony cop. Off goes Elnardo again to the hope only to be tracked down by Rick who hit Webster so hard he went through the swinging doors of the gym and likely ended up in downtown Albany. When Rick got teed up he went over to Culanan with his arms up saying "What did I do?" Good times

Lafayette is one of the lesser teams in the patriot league this year. Lehigh and Bucknell, who beat Bonnies, are cofavorites in the Patriot league.

Wow watching Iona /UA game -- This isnt your typical Iona team, nowhere near as athletic and not as many shooters. They have like 8 points in first 12 min turning ball over, look lost on offense, dont have typical Cluess floor spacing. They have 9 new comers- but no where near talent we have seen on past Iona teams- looks like Cluess is really missing Grasso.
