Worth noting that the UCF team that beat Rider by 14 went on to win the Myrtle Beach Invitational winning their three games by 16, 20, and 16.

MAAC is looking pretty crappy this year, Quinny is struggling, wasn't impressed with FF at all, and Canisius looked horrible yesterday, they came out of gate vs Albany jacking up 3 pointers early in shot clock and were missing everything, they never tried to take advantage of UA weak inside game, settling for wide open 3's they continually missed, Griffs also shot terrible from foul line, not sure if it was just a stinker for Canisius or something they will struggle with all season. Iona's talent level is down from what we have seen in past 6 years or so, but the MAAC is so weak this year they still might be class of conference. I haven't seen Rider yet. Not sure yet where Siena fits in all this mess, other than they won't finish last. Will be interesting to see how teams play Siena going forward, Jamion is doing this with smoke and mirrors, we have 1 really good player in Pickett, a few really good shooters and rest of team role players. The loss of Richard will really hurt us this year, but good news is help is on the way, next year I expect our guards ( Pickett, Carey, Walker and Richard) to be among if not the best group of guards in MAAC- and we all know the MAAC is a guards league Don't sleep on Niagara. Prochet might be the best player in the MAAC and having two other seniors in Barton and Robb that are 20/21 from the line so far will be invaluable for holding onto leads late.

MAAC is the worst conference in the land at 32 as of today. Ouch.

Has the MAAC ever been in the RPI basement before? That's pretty discouraging.
