Must say I'm surprised this is coming down now. Was told it was a possibility after JC was hired, but waiting until now is a big surprise. He was injured for much of the summer, and now that he's healthy I guess he saw a lack of playing time available for him.
I think Ahsante could have helped us this year, but this will give guys like Camper a chance for more minutes and opens up a scholarship for a midyear transfer (perhaps Miles Wilson is in play.. had been told he was going JUCO but that may change)

Wish him well...must have saw the writing on the wall. Jamion and staff now has three scholarships for next year.
Almost impossible to do my depth chart this year but I’m guessing the starters at Providence will be Smithen, Richard, Pickett, Camper and Fisher.

We could use his toughness. I though he would do well in the Mayhem system. Best of luck Ashante

Best of luck to Shivers.

Seems like some kids just don't want to put in the work...

Can Jimmy Ratliff play this year? I would guess yes given JC said he’s in line for more playing time now.

I'm shocked given the timing of this. Don't often see a guy transferring out AFTER practice has started. Wish for the sake of both sides they had realized it wasn't going to work sooner. The change in style of play from previous years is going to be massive.
Wish Shivers well wherever he lands.

I was surprised to see this thread and thought someone posted new info on an old thread. Completely forgot Shivers was still on the team, had just assumed he left with all the others. Doesn't look like he was going to be a good fit on this team so makes sense for him to get out now.

Is the timing surprising? Yes, a little. It's only three calendar weeks later than Wolfgang Gieler left the team, though! blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/gieler-leaves-siena/944/(whoever monitors the site traffic at TU and sees a tiny blip of a surge on this blog post must be like "what the hell?!")

Noticed in a team picture from last week that he wasn’t in it. Disappointed but not terribly surprised. Good luck to shivers wherever he ends up.

Wish Shivers well wherever he lands. we heard this back when Kevin H. signed with Atlanta...I do believe it's been in the works for quite a while. If you check the team pics and even social media posts, some had him, some didn't.
