Looking for an interesting NYS team to root for in the big dance?
University at Buffalo...tomorrow night...9:40 vs. Arizona
Great young coach. Though a very important senior, only one senior who contributes. Have scored over 90 points in the most games in the NCAA this year.
Loaded with a great junior class who will make them all that much better yet next year with a recruit coming in from Rochester who had the choice to go higher and instead chose UB.
Will be a great watch either way. They just might surprise Arizona! Go Bulls!

I think he was talking about teams that truly earned their way in, not those that pad the record playing St Mary's of the Blind on their home court. Oh wait...that might be the Siena plan to res urrection. After all the implementation of that Cuse zone won 8 games this year at the TUC.

Sure I'll root for the Cuse too. Don't think they're going anywhere this year, maybe next. Wish they were still in the Big East.

Arizona has the #1 NBA prospect, and he's a beast.

and how about TX Southern, they started the year by losing their first 13 games (they are coached by former IU Mike Davis).............they righted the ship, circled the wagons, got to the tourney and won last night in Dayton......................not our resident John Wooden, he can't even figure out a way to win 2 in a row, sucks being us.................

Go UB! Disposed of the Cats so now bring on the other Cats! New York teams have been responsible for taking the PAC 12 out of the tournament.

Arizona has the #1 NBA prospect, and he's a beast. didn't matter, the better "team" out-played the talent.............it can be done, AZ kid was thinking about a paycheck instead.....................and now Buffalo has a great chance to beat Kentucky for that matter, same scenario........

Buffalo's 21 point victory as a 13 seed over a 4 tied Siena's margin for a 13 over a 4 in their win over Vanderbilt in 2008. It at least Siena is getting some pub tonight ;-)
I had Arizona winning it all. Oops.

as a side note..............noticed a number of times at a few locations tonight, that the crowds were not very good............for the most part at these sites, one would think tickets are pretty much hard to come by, but their have been games with sparse fannies in the seats...........that is just hard to believe, could they be just fans of respective schools with zero interest in watching the other games? ..........that ain't happening here in Albany in 2020, gonna be super high demand to get in the building...........

You're right, we love our hoops! Sidenote of 2020: After the first two rounds in Albany, the East regional Sweet 16 is at MSG in NYC....imagine Syracuse getting to play in NY throughout before the Final Four?

That’s going to be a good year we should make sure we are on of their non vconference games so they can play all the games in ny. Similar scenario played out in 2003 when they played in Boston then Albany but no different than what the dukies enjoyed seemingly every year
Another ideas; how about a Maac PAC challenge battle of conferences that are ousted after Thursday NCAA tournament games.

You picked Miami everyone had Loyola you should have asked.I had Arizona losing to Kentucky Sean Miller can't coach he's proven that for 10years.Great recruiter if you watched Arizona this year you wouldn't have picked them.He never figured out how to get the ball to Ayton. He never could get the good point guard last few years.
