He “apostrophe” s starting to become unhinged! That's the article from July. He's probably not so stupid as to say that stuff now after losing 24 games. He wouldn't dare...especially since our criticisms were then proven right. KK, he said recently that he told his players that they are going to the NCAA tournament next year (well, perhaps he is paying their way for them to watch the games)............apparently off the meds & just signed his own death warrant/termination next March...............

He’s doing a lot of appearances these days. I hope he’s got some of these kids wrapped up. I wouldn’t be talking NCAA’s. I’d be eating a whole lot of humble pie and analyzing why things went so wrong. There’s a tough road to go with the top teams returning so much. Maybe he’s more concerned with networking for his next job at this point. I don’t know. Right now, he’s got a poor defense, an injured pg without a backup, and a horribly inefficient offense. He better have some aces up his sleeve or he’ll be dropping more deuces on us.

Whats he supposed to do when Yahoo offers him an opportunity to that selection show? "Nah, we only won 8 games this year, so I'll stay home and pout." He's finally been recruiting hard, and not counting on his staff. Telling his kids about "going to the NCAA's" is what a lot of coaches do for motivation. Does anyone really think it will happen? Not one year after a horrible 8 win season. Wasnt like he was guaranteeing the fanbase that the Saints are going, "dancing." What everyone does know, is he needs a great recruiting class this spring. Maybe our "fans" can try to help, instead of hurt, the chances of that happening by being positive for a few weeks? Some of you dont realize, and some do, that you're just sabotaging the program you claim to love so much.

I HAD been saying this for the last month. I just got a little annoyed with the appearances between this and the radio. In general, you don't want to undercut the guy further with recruiting if he's got the chance to 'pull the aces' he finally needs. He's the coach until he's not the coach. If he failed to get the recruits he needs THEN you can jump all over him...but you have to give him a chance during the recruiting season whether you believe he'll succeed or not. You've just had some kind of delusion that when they issued a statement that he was still the coach...they didn't mean it. You've gone all unhinged again and set yourself up once more.

He's so over the top, most recruits that did read his statements wouldn't take him seriously. No one is blaming the fans for him going 8-24. That's on him. No one is debating that, but waking up everyday with the sole purpose to hurt this program contradicts what he claims he loves. No surprise he doesn't get it. Hopefullly the rest of the gang understands where I'm coming from.

Ok - new ground rules - no matter what our "Head Coach" says or does, we don't comment negatively. When three unavailable scholarships magically appear, we don't comment negatively. When any of the needed three opt for other opportunities, we don't comment negatively. When additional unavailable scholarships magically appear, we don't comment negatively. When we sign kids with no other D1 offers, we don't comment negatively. Got it! Should provide for some good reading! Those wishing to discuss the anticipated roster moves can do it just prior to or at the Annual Dinner celebrating yet another season's end (and I mean that literally).
A suggestion, I and others have repeatedly asked our "Head Coach's" supporters to list the coaching positives that he has demonstrated over our most recent season. No need to go back further as he either has taken lessons learned onboard or has thrown them overboard. This past season represents his most experience while at Siena and as a National Championship coach [OBTW, Mitch could make the same claim if you are trying to rank its importance on a scale of 1 to 10]. This would be an excellent time for those supporters to state the positives - that info could help land one or more of our targets!
A note to Tony and SaintsFan - might be a good time to do periodic maintenance on the Board (if any is needed) as posts will likely decrease in volume.

We will play it by ear- if Jimbo is brought back, there will be some changes to posts, no sense in bitching for next year. After all it won't be all jimmy's fault it will be Siena's and many of you will not be coming back as season ticket holders anyway. You can't have it both ways, Siena has very little talent if massive changes are not made Siena is likely looking at another 12 win or less season. If changes are made Jimmy wont be doing it in a vacuum, it will be with Siena's blessing
Remember while most of you are blaming Jimmy for Siena's demise, this has been a long time coming by the incompetent Siena athletic dept, by bad coaching hires and unbelievably bad head coach contracts. My guess and it's only a guess if Jimbo didn't have a long term contract he wouldn't have spent the entire off season last year on vacation- he would have been doing what he is doing this year scrambling for recruits. Anyway if Jimmy is back it will be a clear message from Siena - if you choose to no longer support the program, that will be your choice - why torture yourself by writing venomous posts on this board. And yes I agree the posts on this board will go way down- just like the turnstiles at the TUC will. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and see what happens. While I wouldn't like it if Jimmy comes back the sun will come up tomorrow, life will go on. Either you accept it or move on as a fan

I agree I have been trying to do that —- was waiting for a definitive statement from Siena not the wishy washy gibberish we got a month ago.
